This thread is for rpage with my anthro, Tsunami Sakuma.  Be forewarned that he no longer speaks and will most likely be very depressed for awhile yet. To join in, just make an ((OOC)) post saying you want to join, along with an image of the anthro in question.

Naruto wandered in, muttering to himself about a Jitsu he had been attempting to master recently to no prevail. It was really frustrating, but he had decided to go and find himself somewhere to relax and eat ramen. He had considered Going to Ryland's little beach house, but he felt like doing something different today.
He spotted the little hybrid in the corner and tilted his head, getting the feeling he was a little upset, but he never really was good at telling these things.
"Oi... You alright?" He called over to him, staying where he was right there.

Tsunami's eyes flickered over to Naruto, blinking slightly as he looked around and noticed that the only one he could be talking to was him. He stands up slowly, bunny ears behind his shoulders as he nods the tiniest bit, barely noticeable to the normal eye. His twin tails flicked once behind him, when went still.

Naruto waved his nine tails in sucession with each other, noticing the two tails the other had. He seemed a little surprized, and wondered if he was a demon like him, till the remembered that the twin tailed demon was a cat.
He paused and looked a tad thoughtfull, squinting his eyes before getting himself a pot of instant ramen, before walking over to him.
"Oii... you didn't have to stand up you know... I'm not that important... yet anyway." Though it was kinda cool to think he was. "Do you have a name?"

Tsunami blinks, watching the nine different tails flick for a moment before glancing back at Naruto. He turns to grab a pad of paper and pencil off the chair he'd been sitting on, then quickly writes something down on it and hands it to Naruto. The note read:: "My name is Tsunami Sakuma."

Naruto blinked at the pad, picking it up and trying to read it out loud. "'Myee Nahm-me ees Tsunami" ... Ahh! Damnit why didn't I pay more attention in English??" He slammed the pad down on the table, twitching slightly, before he flopped down into the couch. "I'm Naruto... future 6th hokage of Konoha... It's good to meet you Tsunami..." His newly formed temper holding back in his voice. Just see it as training, Naruto... He thought to himself, picking up the pad again. He was lucky to be able to speak english, just why was reading it so dificult? He started to mutter to himself about how that baka Sasuke would likely know how to read english, and so would Sakura...

Upon hearing Naruto mutter Sasuke's name, Tsunami's ears twitch slightly, then flick back behind his shoulders. He watches Naruto for a moment before smiling slighly, offering the other a hand, meaning he wanted to shake Naruto's hand. He didn't know if the other understood body language all that well, so he just sat there, smiling and waiting.

It took a little while for Naruto to even notice the other's outstretched hand, and blinked at it, before catching on. With a sheepish grin he took it and shook it lightly. "So uh, you're a mute right? Or did you take some vow of Silence?" He looked at the pad. "I havn't seen anyone that wont talk outside of that damn hospital... You're not ill are you?" He asked as he tilted his head, holding the pad back to him so he could reply.

Tsunami blinks, taking the pad of paper back, then shakes his head and scribbles something down in Kanji. His mother, Ryuichi, had taught him how to write in his native language. "I can speak, a little, but would rather not... At least... Not yet... Someone had helped me learn to speak, and I grew feelings for him... Then he chose someone else and it hurt... So... I don't talk at all now. I have no reason to talk, really, when I can sometimes get things across with body language rather than speech. No, I'm not sick. Not from any hospital, either." He then hands the note back to Naruto.

Naruto read the message a lot better, and smiled. "Well, i'm glad you can write Japanese, at least... Sakuma.. One of your parents must be Japanese right? Or both... I don't know." He looked back at the note, tapping at some of the characters. "Hm.. I know what that's like.. sorta... Having someone you like love another... It really bites..." He sighed, thinking about Sakura's enfatuation with Sasuke, wondering if she ever did get over him. "But you know... It might be easier to just let him go if you continued talking. I mean, He's.. Kinda like your sensei, right? Students fall in love with their sensei sometimes, I heard... But even if that sensei get's married, you can't forget what he has taught you.. that would kinda be dishonering not only him, but yourself." He shrugged, trying, though it was really hard to, to imagine what he'd do if he had a crush on Iruka ((i think XD)) Sensei. He couldn't just forget all he learnt just because he betrayed him.. though it'd be tepting, he admitted.

Tsunami takes the pad of paper back and writes some more. "My mother, Ryuichi Sakuma, was from Japan. My father, Arlin Mae Hidaka, was from America, so I can read and write both Japanese and English." He thought for a moment, then scribbled another note. "You do have a point there... Although I wasn't very good at even speaking before he found someone to be with, so I'm not... really sure I even should attempt it again anytime soon. At least, not where others can hear me, until I think I can pronounce things right."

"Are you afraid to make mistakes, Sakuma-kun?" He asked after he read over the note. He smiled. "As a foreigner, I can easily tell you that you should'nt worry about screwing up pronounciation, everyone says words differently, that's what they call Accents. Someone might find your way of talking attractive anyway... And if no one can hear you, how do you if you speaking it right?" He looked around the place. "No one is here, so, why don't you try now."

Tsunami blinks rapidly, thinking, then, nods the tiniest bit. "'Kay..." He said very low, almost a whisper. "Dis no eeeezy fur mi...." He said again, brow furrowing as he concentrated on the words. "Dis... 'kay?"

Naruto blinked, before beaming. "That's great! You're better than someone else I know who's learning to talk. You have a lot to improve, but you're pretty far along." He nodded with a grin. "I believe you should practice more. But even I have to practice a lot with some things." Naruto was nearly overjoyed that the hybrid started talking to him, even if it was difficult.

Tsunami gives a small smile, then concentrates again. "You... Ninja too? Like... S-Sa-Sasssssukaaaay?" He asked, tilting his head as he looked at the other.
