boyshorts (think they call them that for girls XP) are cute and look good on justa bout everyone. plus they will help conceal any areas you dont want shown. 3nodding
i normally forget all about summer now. i was working non stop the last two so i never got to enjoy them. that and no one i know has pools XP if i ever went to the beach it would be at night for bonfires. and those are AWESOME! when i went to the beach i just wore regular shorts (i actually dont have swimming trunks sweatdrop ) but i was never really self concious after the first 30 mins or so. the beach has some pretty people.....and some .....not so pretty people....and for the most part no one is really bothered from what ive seen (unless im really that dense haha.)

Boyshorts are good.
I haven't gotten a new bathing suit in years, I wear the same tankini... I want a new one, I just haven't gotten one crying
I can tell you all the styles I love, but unless I see a good example of your body shape (drawing or photo or whatever) I can't really give you a definate answer.

Agreed, boyshorts are really cute, but I've found with some body types they can.....er, well, let's just say you can get wedgies sweatdrop But they are adorable and such and worth trying. Tankini's are great too. I, unfortunately, only have a one-piece that is really too small for me now. Blar.

Glamour has some cute suits in this month's issue. [I'm pretty sure it's Glamour] Normally magazines just have one-pieces for chunky girls, but there's a few two-pieces.

I would just wear a one-peice and then wear a wrap skirt or sarong around your waist that comes down low enough to hide whatever you want to hide until you get into the water. Nobody will be able to see anything once you're in the water.
I had to do this once because I had a sunburn on my backside.... gonk

*if* I wear a bathing suit it is usually a one piece with a bit of skirt to hide my bottom. However, I'm thinking of trying a tank and shorts this time around. See how well that covers what I want it to cover.

I wear a regular bathingsuit. I had my fire baptism to go swimming again during a children's disco party. xd I don't mind people seeing me in my bathingsuit anymore after that. If one can live through that, one can live through anything.

I dread bathing suits. Hopefully if I am lucky I can get away with not having to get one. I hate how I look in them. I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to pick one out.

A two-piece is such the way to go for me. My lower half is bigger than my top half, so I just grab a tank & some shorts and call it a day.

my bathing suit will probably consist of some dudes swim trunks (they dont chaf like regular cut-offs/shorts do) and a tankini top (prefrebly halter style).
i still need to get around to buying it, but whateves. i still have a little time before appropriate beach weather comes around in minnesota, lmao

It's already that time in Bama.
It's so hooooooot, I sit around baking all day.
I've actually worked up a nice tan on my arms (especially my right) just from driving around the same amount as I usually do crying
I need to find a bathing suit.
In the past I used to go to my friend's lakehouse a ton, now I just kinda work all the time... I'm determined to go to a pool or lake at least a few times this summer, I especially love the lake. Whee, tubing whee

With bathing suits, for me it's always just been one peices because of the way I hold my weight, nothing else looks even remotely good. Not that I when look good in that but you get my point. The last couple years, it's been a one peice with a big baggy t-shirt over it to swim in.
