Well, there is more to a person than just their general personality. People are infinitely complex and made of several different parts. On a super-basic level:

Your rising sign is the way you appear to other people, and deals with your appearance and body as well as your general vibe. For example, a Leo with a Taurus Ascendant may not seem as sunny and expansive in public as they do with their friends. They might seem solid and even a bit unfriendly, even though as a Leo this is obviously not true.

The moon represents your emotional structure. The way you feel. For example, your sun is in Aquarius and your moon is in Cancer, you might be a lot more emotional and sensitive than the average Aquarius.

Mercury represents your mind. The way you think and the way you communicate. For example, if your sun in is Taurus and your Mercury is in Gemini, you may be a lot more talkative and quick witted than your average Taurus.

Venus relates to your love life. Who you love, how you love, and how your relationships play out. A cancer with a Leo Venus is going to require lots of attention and praise and will be a warm, generous lover.

Mars relates to your anger and your sex drive. A Scorpio mars can make even the sweetest Pisces have a vengeful streak, for example.

Jupiter and Saturn are less personal planets and serve as more external points. Generally, wherever Jupiter is in your chart (and this requires at least some understanding of the houses), you're generally lucky and expansive. And wherever Saturn is, there is generally work to be done, and you may often experience limitations.

The rest of the planets are generational planets, and don't carry as much personal significance. However, wherever Uranus is in your chart, you are likely to have revolutionary urges. Where Neptune is, you have a tendency to dream and you don't have a lot of clarity. Where Pluto is, there are deep currents of transformation.

All this, of course, doesn't even begin to go into the houses, aspects, and all the million other confusing parts of astrology that make it so hard to learn. XD But I hoped it helped a little bit!

lol sure you can go see it. I'd be nice if I could get a good reading too, because I still don't understand how all of these plants, houses, aspects, etc. Fit my personality or what ever. I still don't see on how I can see the Leo rising in me, or the Gemini moon for that matter. Well, I can kind of see the Gemini moon work in me from time to time, I guess...

...whenver my Piscean emotions start to become overbearing, sometimes I get tired of it and try to block it out. I'm just like "forget it. it's the thing of the past now" and I just shake my head. Other times I catch myself daydreaming heavily, or contemplating heavily on a memory that I really wish I didn't remember right now. I suppress them by just not thinking about it and instead keeping a mellow expression. Sometimes I would even say in my head, "why would I even want to think about this? Forget it. It's not worth recalling; just forget those people who were mean to you, blah blah...it's the thing of the past, and they are the ones to laught at now."

I think that's how a Gemini moon works....*shrug* but then I could be wrong.


And sometimes, there are times where I could care less about people. Zodiac says that Pisces is caring and compassionate, but there was a time in my life where I cared about the world issues so far and that I wanted to help. But now...I'm much more focused on just concentrating on my school, friend, family, and private life.

I could even be mean to my younger brother if I want to, and sometimes I can through off a temper...and sometimes, my parents don't even understand what I say because I can act childish at time, and exaggerate and twist my speech to make me sound like a stupid foreigner, lol.

"WAT ARE YUU SAYING!? WE DON'T UNDERSTAND YUU! SPEAK KLEARLY!"

...my parents would say.

There are also times where I want to just shake off some silly daydreams of mine. Whenever I catch myself in a romantic daydream (especially with the guy that I really like right now), I have to often check myself and comeback to reality before someone catches me acting weird. There was this one time in my Japanese language class, I was moving my hands all over the place, as if I were some crazy mime, lol. One of the upperclassman caught me doing so, and also caught me moving my mouth without words. I didn't realize that I was acting out my daydream in front of the class (it wasn't a romantic daydream; more like a comedic/political one, lol blaugh )!

Also, I can be such a worry wart.
And there are times where I find myself being offended by something or embarassed by something, and I can't seem to shrug it off until hours later, even though it was just a small problem.

I also tend to be such a worry wort, and plus...

I have good memory.

And there are some events that I would really love to just forget about. But I can't help it; they always pop back to my mind.

Like how I worried that something bad must've happened to my sort-of boyfriend (we're not official yet) because I haven't talked to him in weeks, until I saw him online today I stopped freaking out. XD;

I wish I could buy those books, but right now my paren'ts won't let me spend so much. >.<;;

and plus I'm saving up the money for the Japan trip with my art teacher next year

I still don't understand the whole Leo rising thing though. I don't see what's so Leo about me, or maybe I just don't notice.
