The following breaks down the character profile skeleton into bite-sized pieces. Yum.

CHARACTER IDENTITY
Username: Not rocket science
Public Name: The name you use to make yourself (in)famous.
Real Name: Your character's civilian identity. Annotate if the hero's ID is public knowledge.
Gender: Duh.
Age: Duh.
Weight: Your character's weight.
Height: Your character's height.

CHARACTER POWERS
Strengths: This covers more than just your powers. List everything your character is good at, from firing deadly blasts of flame from his/her fingertips, to being an excellent politician.
Weaknesses Your archetype will give you at least one weaknesses. Additional weaknesses need to be somewhat exploitable.
Origin Archetype: (choose one)
  • Alien: Born on another planet, arrived at Earth. Aliens have difficulty adapting to human culture, and may have problems blending in with the populace.
  • Metahuman: Altered by an outside force, a former human gains powers. Metahuman powers tend to be more unstable than most other power sources.
  • Technology: Either though invention or a benefactor, the hero uses high-tech devices to fight. Technology heroes/villains tend to be vulnerable because they rely heavily on those devices.
  • Science: Through either self-experimentation or experimentation by others, powers are acquired. Science powers are often unpredictable, and can change over time, for better or worse.
  • Natural: The character has no powers of any sort. The character may use some low-to-medium-tech devices to fight, but mostly relies on intense physical training. Natural heroes/villains are only human, and therefore are vulnerable to injury/disease.
  • Mutant: Mutants have altered DNA from birth, often times manifesting powers as early as their preteens. Mutants are often outcasts from society from a very young age, causing some mental instability or low-self image/grudges against society.

Power Modifiers: Use the following four fields to identify how your powers and/or devices are used in each situation:
Attack: Your character's main attack power(s).
Defense: Your character's main defensive maneuver(s) or device(s).
Transport: How your character gets around.
Other: Other ways your character's powers are used.
Device List: (Technology, Natural only) A comprehensive list of devices used to fight. Non technology/natural characters can list the FEW devices they would have in the above fields instead.
CHARACTER INTERACTION
Hero or Villain:
Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes, League of Conquerors
Appearance: Attach a comprehensive physical description here, or a link to the image.
Personality: Include your character's quirks, grudges, soft spots, sensitivities, etc.
History: A comprehensive history describing the manifestation of your character's powers, and how he/she reacted to them, as well as how others reacted, and how they came to be where they are now.
The part you took in the great war: Write your character into the storyline by providing a back-history. Make sure your information matches the guild storyline.

Regarding using canonical comic book characters:

If you want to use a comic book character, or TV show hero/villain, like Batman or The Joker, that's fine. But there's a setback: your character's canonical history and prominence will be shot down drastically. In our world, the leadership of the LoTH and the LoC are the most famous people, not Wolverine or Spiderman. Ergo, don't expect to play Superman and automatically be part of the LoTH leadership: it won't work that way. You are, however, free to make up your own character with characteristics similar to that of your favorite pre-existing hero, but changing whatever details you like, including the character's name(s) and abilities.

Regarding existing characters in the storyline:

When you create your character, don't expect to automatically be better than the leadership councils of the two groups: they're in charge for a reason, and they're legendary people, hero or villain, for a reason. Not a one of you would be able to take them on in one-on-one combat because their skill surpasses just about anyone else's in the country. You may come close, but don't try to godmod your way into beating Positron on your own, or take down Zephyr just for kicks. (As much as we all want to take him down amongst the heroes alone...) These plotline characters don't necessarily have strong powers, but they know how to use them in the most skillful ways possible. You've been warned.
