"Mess might be the right word for me!" Jaden hopped out of her chair and walked over to Reig. "You don't make be feel like a bug under a microscope anymore, you know? I find it hard not to trust you," Jaden glanced at Rieg wondering about what he would have to do inorder to get her into the Temple. There was always the chance of being denied but still, she had a good chance of making it in. "Where are we off to?" ((shiny new thread xd ))

Rieg nodded to her and chuckled, and noticed the sense of excitement buzzing in Jaden. Without further ado, led her to his ship. They reached the docking bay and Rieg pressed a button on a device in his pocket and the ramp from his ship came down slowly, inviting both of them in. Here, it was clean and orderly, nothing particularly special about the entrance area. To the right was the control panel, situated in front of a couple of seats obviously used for the pilots. From inside that room, a red R-4 unit came bustling out, whistling and whirring to Rieg. It handed something to Rieg with a metal protrusion like an arm. Rieg nodded, took the device, glanced at it, smiled at the droid, and pocketed it. "Thank you, ar four," said Rieg. "We will be using the ship for a few moments. Could you retrieve my case for me? We will be in the training room." The droid beeped in response and rolled off in another direction. Rieg grinned at Jaden, and led her to the left side of the ship, which opened into a set of doors. Two doors on the left, and two doors on the right. Rieg stood in front of the door at the back left, waved his hand in front of a sensor, and the door slid open to reveal a large, empty, almost circular looking room, with a low ceiling that rose maybe a foot above Rieg's head. The room was dim, but upon Rieg's motion to the light sensor, the light increased to show the stark white color of the room. "It's a bit plain," Rieg admitted. "But it will suffice." He sat on a stool in the middle of the room, and looked to Jaden. He motioned to the tables that surrounded the back wall. On them lay some everyday objects, such as glasses, bottles, random electronic devices, some corks, and other things, including a round paristeel helmet. There was also a small wardrobe cabinet and a sink. "Feel free to look around, it may be a moment before ar four returns."

((Ah! I am soo sorry! I didn't realize we were off to a new thread o.0))

Jaden took in all the new sights like a thirsty sponge took in water. "I don't mind plain at all," Jaden said as she entered the room looking about. Almost imediately she moved over to the table after being told it was okay to look around the room. Jaden stood infront of the random electronics and the helmet looking at both as if they were interesting seashells on the beach before finally picking up one of the random devices. She turned it over in her hands, studying it, trying to figure out its purpose. "I use to have something like this back home. At least if this does what I think it does," Jaden set the device back on the table in the spot it had once occupied. "Father let me tinker around with some of his lab equipment and sometimes machanics on the ship," Jaden touched the helmet when she said this briefly before withdrawing her hand at a thought that popped into her mind. She moved away form the table walking along the outer edge of the room looking to the wardrobe and the sink now. "If this room was dug into the earth, I would say I was home again. Only my room was a lot messier with old projects and dreamdrawing. I have this musicbox though, that's about the only thing I have of my possesions," Jaden realized she was starting to go one and one about her home again and stopped. "Sorry, I'm rambling on again aren't I?"

Rieg smiled kindly at her, eventually chuckling at her last statement. "No, no, it's quite alright. You really seem to miss your home," he observed. "I would say if anything, you feel most comfortable there. It is a good thing, to appreciate the place you come from. But do not let it invite a sense of attachment to you. To be in complete control of your emotions, you must learn to let go. Personally, I've learned to make myself comfortable everywhere I go. Not only does it eliminate any sense of nervous unfamiliarity, it helps you keep in tune with the Force, to be aware that it is always around you, and that it is the Force that truely makes you comforable." He stood up. "Ah, now here I go, sounding like an old fool," he laughed. He walked to the table to examine the helmet.

Jaden grinned, "You're no fool, Master. The words you speak make sense at least!" She observed him now as he examined the helmet. "Do you like to fly?" Jaden asked remebering all the times she had piloted a craft of some sorts. Podracing was her altime favorite though no matter how many times her father said his heart stopped when something went wrong during the races. She had survived that planet and its podracing with all the cheaters in it. When she thought back to it, Jaden herself was amazed she lived without any major injuries occuring to her.

((Had more written.... stupid thing erased a paragraph of it crying ))

"Ah," he laughed, "flying can be fun when I'm the one doing the piloting. I sometimes got nervous when my padawans would become reckless behind the controls. Young people are so much different at flying than what I'm used to," he chuckled. He turned towards the door when the R-4 unit returned with a black case. "Ah, here it is," Rieg said as he took to the case from the droid. "Thank you, ar four. Now." He set the case on the table and opened it. Inside was a rather simple lightsaber and a small device. Rieg pulled the device out and pressed a button. The device opened up into a small droid, floating in air, but not moving. "Normally I would have you use this lightsaber, as at this stage you would not have been able to construct your own weapon yet. However, since you do have your own, you are free to use your own lightsaber or the one provided here." He walked over to the table and picked up the helmet. "Now, when you're ready, put on this helmet. We will be doing a short exercise on your reflexes."

((Nice! I remember watching Luke Skywalker do this exercise in the original trilogy!))

Jaden looked quizically at Rieg and the helmet. This was like something her father had done with her. Only he used a blindfold and she would use a stick to bat away small pieces of soft foam so that they would not hit her. Jaden crossed the room and joined Rieg's side to set down her bag and take the helmet before moving back to a more central location in the room. She slipped on the helment finding herself completely blinded now. Taking a moment to adjust, she had to take a few breath before she nodded to Rieg to go on.
