This is just a little topic for the Batman fans out there.
We were screwed over by Joel Schumacher with Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. He took every piece of Batman we loved and put it through a shredder. Just killed it. Mr. Freeze? Oh, he's a jolly, punny sort of guy! Right, and my corn flakes this morning were full of rainbow sparkles.
Now, Batman Begins was good stuff, especially because of the casting [with the exception of Katie Holmes, who was laughable as a DA]. However. Am I the only person that is upset about The Dark Knight's casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker? After Cesar Romero's appearance in the 60's show and Mark Hamil's voice in the cartoons, I don't see how Heath Ledger can pick up where they left off. Now maybe he's just this amazing actor that I've managed to overlook, but honestly, I'm incredibly skeptical. Especially about the voice.
So, what do y'all think? Are there any Batman fans here that agree with me? Disagree? Heath Ledger fans? I was just curious to see the opinion here.

Jim Carrey never played the Joker. Jack Nicholson.
And revenge is fun.
