Personality: He likes to put on a "tough guy" act and gives off the appearance of being a bit vicious when in a crowded area with Kita, and with Sin he's extremely stubborn. Among his own kind he acts as if he is too good to socialize, for about the first few minutes before trying to find another to strike up some kind of conversation or interaction.

Gender: Male
Physical Description: About average height for a teenager, and on the thin side. His hair is a very bleached white, and when traces of its original navy-black can be seen it gives him the appearane of having ashes dumped on his head. His eyes are a very oddly.. pink hue, as he claims coming from somewhere in his family history.
Personality: He is usually quite soft-spoken, but by no means weak. He can come off as a meek type, but that is in part due to the stark contrast his overprotective and moody griffon companion.
Background: Having left home for reasons he won't say, he's been a traveller with his brother's griffon companion. His mannerisms would almost hint at him being from a well off family, unless the off chance his elder brother comes into the picture. He is on not-speaking terms with the sibling, and when asked would simply say they had differences that can't be solved, and leaves it at that.
He carries in his possession a small griffon egg that was given to him to have his own companion. Seeing as he left when it was still an egg, he figures that's why his elder brother's griffon followed him to keep an eye on them both.

Physical Description: Relatively tall at 5'9. His hair is very light, with a faintly blue tint to it. From traveling he's gotten himself a light tan, givng his blue eyes a bit more contrast. He has an affinity for red clothing.
Personality: Outwardly cold, he doesn't say much unless someone talks to him first, or he's had a few drinks to loosen his tongue up.
Background: He won't go much into it, but he left home after some argument with his little brother. When Kita ran away, he went after him to catch him and either take him home or get him back for something he won't mention; not t mention that his griffon followed Kita when the younger sibling left.

Name: Nut Keeper: Kita, but currently under his brother Sin's care. Past stages: Chick Juvy Adolescent AdultPersonality: Extremely outgoing, and as curious as any young gryph. She's very good at making Sin annoyed with her, and will attack or latch on to anything that moves, especially if it happens to be another gryphon's tail. Nut's font: Bold black Mate: N/A Nut was given away to a friend for care as she grew too wild for the younger sibling to manage.

Age: 20-ish
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Just a little on the short side for his age, standing at 5'6. He has a light bodybuild, and an aqua hue to his hair. He almost always keeps his hair tied back in a ponytail. Usually wearing light clothing that is a little baggy to make him appear a little heavier than he is. His eyes are an amber shade of hazel.
Personality: Usually soft spoken, this musician keeps to himself, and lets his instruments speak for him. He is well versed in the art of the flute lyre. Though at first glance he may appear to be very meek and mild tempered, crossing him, or threatening to steal or break one of his instruments can get him, and his adversary into quite a bit of trouble, namely if Fero is nearby.
Background: He left from home when he was fifteen to escape his father's ideas of making him a soldier and carrying on the family tradition. Along the way, he obtained a griffon egg from a rather seedy man, and when the chick hatched, immediately befreinded the creature by playing his music for it. Naming his griffon Fero, a play on another title, he eventually learned how to ride the beast, though he ould much prefer to walk. Never leaving his side is a small leather sachel, that holds his flute and lyre close.
Relations: None in the area, his parents remain in his homeland.

Personality: Cocky. He is very attached to his small human companion, and sometimes seems to almost treat Note as his chick. When around other griffons, particularly of the female sort, he feels the need to show off even more than usual.

Homeland
The Sterling brothers hail from a small republic to the East of Cairos. Te land was claimed long ago by settlers of mostly unknown origin from across the sea who settled there. The region is in alliance with the ntion of Cairos for protection from invading peoples, in return for the rights of trading for their fabrics and metals.
The republic was never officilly given a name until roughly half a century before, when the alliance ws forged. For now, under the name of the Republic of Guara, they live free of more than civil disputes. The country is governed by a small group of nobes, acting as parliment to enforce the las and supply men to keep the peace. The Sterling family is related distantly to one of these noble lines, the Shafts, but not closely enouh to be given any special treatment from the rest of the people.
