Yes. There's actually another version of AWL comming out for the PS2 in 2006. Here's the info from a website:The second PlayStation 2 entry in the Harvest Moon series builds upon the similarly-named GameCube title, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. A few big changes mark the jump from GameCube to PS2 -- in this version, you may have either a boy or a girl once you've been married, and there are now four wives to woo with the addition of the lovely Lumina, and continued building of your farm is allowed once you've completed the story campaign.I think it sounds cool, but I really don't want to be playing HM Games at once. There's AWL, Another Wonderful life, FoMT, MFoMT, Poem of Happiness, and HM DS. If I get all of those, I might just give up on AWL, Another WL, and FoMT. There's too many to play.
Found this out from IGN

I'm excited for that. I already knew that for awhile. And you know how you can only play for six years in AWL? Well, in this one, you can continue playing for as long as you want.

I've only played through 3 chapters on AWL. I tend to like the handheld games better than those on other consoles.

That''s cool. I really don''t have one single fave. I like every game I''ve played. And that''s 6 of them.

Hm...Maybe I should get this one. But I want to try and get everything in FoMT first (which includes hibernating for a while to get the Mountian Cottage) and then move on to MFoMT. It might take a couple of years...

Why yes I did! And it's not even my party yet. biggrin I want a lot of games for my DS as well as my GC and PS2. But back to the topic....
I've haven't played many games for the PS2. So far, most of the games take a lot of loading time. Does StHL(Save the Homeland) take a chunk out of time for loading?

But if you stumble onto an event, the loading will be slightly longer than usual. You'll usually know when you come across an event when the background music stops.

Water 7 I didn't really like StHL... I thought that it was a good game but I was disappointed when you couldn't get married to anyone. And some of the endings were a little too hard. Like the Bluebird one for example. Befriending Louis is simple but the stupid flute playing part was what stumped me completely. The notes go to fast!! stressed
