Something's been bugging me since I've woken up today. WHich was about 3 hours ago. xD ((it's 5:00 pm now))
Okay, I was day dreaming after my mom had woken me up and I started talking to Blue Berry Muffins, my blue teddy bear.
And then I started talking about the guild to BlueBerry Muffins and I then I wondered....Is there anyone here around my age? o.O;
11, 12, 13? Anyone!?
Also, rules for writing. I believe their is no such thing. just write! Of course in contest, there are rules but you know what I mean.
In my class, we've learned this new thing called the 6+1 traits. We learned about voice, orginization, Presantation, and...I can't remeber the rest right now... But we've also learned about other rules.
These rules, oh god, I hate them.
rule number whatever! If your story starts out funny end it funny! Um...What if I want to make the ending really tell you something? What if something dramatic happens, something funny would just ruin it...!
rule number I dunno. No more then 4 characters. Little Jimmy got a cow from the sailor. Little Jimmy went to his mother's and father's house and gave them the cow. Then, Little Jimmy headed to Big Ronalds.... Already I have more than 4 characters within 3 senctences. Rule number something. Make the main character likable What if the whole entire point is to hate the main character? Everyone has there own opions so you can't make everyone like your character.
MY FAVORITE RULE!...No...it's not...Have there be a problem in the story and solve it I've read a few stories that have had NO problems and they're really good! Anyone ever read A Man Without A Country? And a great story is Kira-Kira but the problem is unsolvable.
End your story with a positive note Hello! Life! It's not always gonna be HAPPILY EVER AFTER! or THEN THEY GOT MARRIED!
Also...Don't leave the readers hanging Don't you want that? That way they read the next story or wonder about it?
Sorry, but I jsut really needed to get this out...

14 3/4 YAY! I failed your English class!
Rule number whatever!: starts cute, ends with heartbreaking sadness and drama and solemnity.
Rule number I dunno: haha, over a thousand characters named bishies, and counting.
Rule number something: ............uh, no. First of all, there IS no main character. Second of all, if I had to choose four, two of them would be absolutely despisable, the other two...passable.
Favorite--not--rule: um, yeah, no one actually SOLVES the problem in the book. It lurks there for all eternity like the phantom menace or something.
Positive note: NOPE! They aaaaaaallllldie. ^.^
Don't leave readers hanging: yeah, I have a wtf? ending, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! blaugh
hahahahaha...it's like story writing for morons...I'm so sorry. ):

I'll be 25 in October. And I fail your English class as well. Because rules for writing only make sense in structured classes. Everywhere else... just write how it sounds best to you. If it makes sense to you to have a sad, heartbreaking ending, write it that way. If you want to write a story where the most dramatic problem happens to be that the male lead is out of condoms, well, there you go. By the way, we call that smut, where I'm from, but I only know a few people who don't write it from time to time. If you want to have a dozen main characters, go for it. Hell, if you read any decent epic fantasy or sci-fi story, it's got so many named, important characters that you can barely keep track of who's on who's side and what they're supposed to be doing.
Rules for writing are for uncreative dummies!
