Yet another day in these lands. With each sunrise and sunset, he absorbed more and more of the knowledge the lands had to give. However, he was beginning to find... that the lands were going dry. There wasn't much he didn't know about most of the lands, and he had to meander more and more to find something new.
Sekizen was headed out to his favorite hilltop on this fine day. He could see much of the lands and just think- his favorite past time. Something had felt special though. He couldn't put a claw on it and sat atop the rock at the hill's peak, lime green eyes overlooking the lands.

She couldn't quite put her paw on it but she knew she had been here, whever here was of course. Nix could've sworn she felt like a voice in her head told her to come this way, that her sister would be here. Yet again, she saw no one of her sister's liking, that was unless her sister had mastered the illusion technique.
But Nix'Annada, goddess of lightning highly doubted that.
She probably should have cast an illusion over herself, to hide her wings, her horns, but it didn't matter to her. She did not pose a threat to this place, she was just on her way through, trying to find a lost friend, her sister. She padded through the tall grasses with ease, teh blades hiding her wings somewhat in the green of it all.

Sekizen's eyes caught a black figure wandering through the grass, but he was too far away for him to tell if he recongnized it. He headed off in that direction, thinking that it was his friend Ruffian, the scout. He'd wished to have another conversation with her, she seemed nice!
As he got closer, however, he could see something strage about this individual. She had... horns? He shook his head in disbelief, but they didn't go away. He trotted to catch up. "Hello," He said when he got close enough to her from behind. "What's on your head?" He asked as a quick follow-up question. He'd never ever seen horns on a lion, and deemed it impossible, deciding it was some sort of hat. He still hadn't taken notice of the goddess' wings.

Nix stopped and turned her eyes upon a small white and black figure, she smiled, a cub? A male too, and aww, was he cute. She stepped out from the grass a bit, exposing herself as a whole now, and she bent her head over for him to have a close look, "Horns my little friend, you can touch them if you like, no harm will come to you," she assured him in a soft tone.
He was so cute...cubs were precious things, that she knew.
"I'm Nix'Annada little one, whats your name hmm?" she asked, filcking her tail. Perhaps this little boy could cheer her up some.

A bit hesitantly at first, then more confidently, Sekizen poked one of the black horns with an extended claw. When he pushed, it didn't budge. No hat. For the first time in his life, (As short as it had been thus far) he was completely boggled, and for the first time, it was an emotion the little cub couldn't hide- no matter how hard he tried.
Then he saw the wings. This is no ordinary lioness... He wasn't even completely sure it was a lioness.
"...I'm Sekizen," he said, a tad distracted by his mind trying to figure out the puzzle. "Pardon my asking, but are you a lioness?" He asked. He had to know what preciesly she was, why she had horns, and why she had wings.

"Sekizen, such a strong nice name, you may also call me Nix Sekizen, if its easier to remember," she said nodding, some of her white fur covering he eyes somewhat. So young and already he had come across something, someone many adults even tried to seek out. "A lioness, yes, in a way, but not ...normal per say, I'm a goddess little one, which makes me different, gifted you could say, cursed others would label me as, though I live my life as well as any other can."
She wondered if her appearance scared him at all, if it did, she'd try to make an illusion about herself, she didn't need to go around scaring cubs.

Goddess... Sekizen thought to himself. He'd heard of them before. Gods and goddesses lived forever, and apparently had horns and wings. He wasn't entirely sure whether to treat her like a queen or an adult, or both.
"I've never met a goddess before, Ms Nix," He said. He figured a "Ms" would hopefully do the trick as far as honor goes. He did know that gods and goddesses had powers, too. And each of them had a different power. "What do you do?" He asked, hoping his question wouldn't be too ambiguous.

"Ms.?" she said with a giggle, ruffling the fur atop his head where one day a brilliant mane would grow. Mmhmm, he'd turn out to be a cute boy. "Nix is just fine Sekizen, just fine, no need for such proper terms between friends now huh?" She flicked her tail, yes, mortal friends, they were good, they were nice, she liked them. She wondered if her sister had them too.
"What I do? I can create and control lightning, though lightning storms are outside of my bounds, though bolts and sparks are what I can do, yes," she said with a nod. Yes, hopefully that answered his question.

"Wow!" Sekizen gasped at the thought. How could someone make lightning bolts? He didn't know, but what power that must be! "That would be so cool!" he continued on, still amazed by the fact. He wondered if she was there at the last big lightning storm... She probably had been.
He accepted what she had said as fact, mostly from the fact that all the other unbelievable things had been proven true.
"Are there lots more gods and goddesses, Nix?" He asked, tilting his head.

She smiled and nodded her head, her white fur falling into the view of her blue hues as she watched Sekizen. So small and so curious, a wonder, children were a wonder, so curious, so perfect in her eyes. Least from what she had seen in the past. "Yes, yes, many more Sekizen, many more, of all types you know," she said matter of factly, waking a circle around him for a moment, then settling back down upon the soil of the earth.
"Yes, many more, my sister, she had different abilities then I, some are very strange, unique, many are very strong if used the right way," she wondered if she found her sister, she could bring her back to visit little Sekizen, so he could meet another immortal.
Surely that would have him smile.
Smiles were a wondrous thing, she wondered if he sister had smiled yet since the last time she had seen her.

"I guess you're just like a normal lion, then," He said, coming to his own comfortable equilibrium. "Only you can play with lightning. You've still got a family and paws, and a tail..." He listed almost to himself. He gave a quick nod, happy to have reached the decision that she was no more different than he and his mother.
"You ever been to the Pridelands? I could show you around, there's lots of cool places!" He said, leaping to his feet. The cub didn't show excitement often, but Nix seemed different from most lions. Well, she was different from most lions.

Nix smiled, giggled, swayed her tail. She looked to the sky, then back to Sekizen, she had a better idea. "How about you tell me things from up there hmm? The sky will soon turn, a storm might be coming, I'm not sure yet, though if we flew, I'd be able to see much more then if we walked...you up for it Seki, hmm?" she asked with a smirk, a wink, watching, waiting.
She hoped he would comply.
She felt like flying again already.

The cub's lime green eyes grew wide at the idea. He hadn't ever been up to the skies, only just gazed in wonder at them from a tall rock. He couldn't imagine the idea... It sounded wonderful though!
"Of course I'll fly with you!" He said. Though... I'm not sure I'll be able to navigate everywhere. On the other paw... I should be able to still see all the landmarks. We should be able to get everywhere fine, he thought to himself.
This is going to be fun! he added to himself. He couldn't wait to brag to his siblings about having not only met a goddess, but flown with her too!

Nix smiled and giggled to herself, Seki seemed so excited! She was glad to have made him that way, to see them smile was so wonderful. "Alright then, here," she said crouching down low enough so he could climb onto her back, she let her feathered wings down too in case he needed to go up a wing first before getting to her back. "Just be careful alright? Don't want you falling off, you can hold onto the bottom of my wings if you wish, just don't pull too hard okay?"
She didn't want to shock him by accident.

((Don't worry about it. heart I know how life is.)) Sekizen wiggled his way up Nix's extended wing and settled himself right near her shoulderblades; his front legs towards the front of where her wings met her body, and back legs behind. He hoped this positioning wouldn't hinder her flying abilities, but it sure seemed mighty comfortable, all things considered.
He jostled himself a touch on purpose to see if he'd stick, and he did. "I think I'm good up here," Sekizen said, his voice in wonder. "Where are we going?" He couldn't help but ask.
