An RP Between My Aveshar And DB's Lovely Briseis...

Aveshar paced into the Ghostly Hollow that had become his dark sanctuary. He would one day set up a pride here -if he found any that were like him- and rule in this dark place. Protected by stone, surrounding a ghost forest of dead trees... Trees that were actually strong enough to withstand the fury of his claws... Though the weaker ones had submitted to his strength and anger... Such Anger in this Dark Prince... He paced to a patch of silver grass, alive surprisingly, and soft... It covered a rock high in the back of the cave, allowing him to see all in the cave, in the Hollow... It was the perch of a King... But not yet...

Thunder cracked as the ligress prowled through the lands. She was going to kill him, she growled lowly. Cheating, lying backstabber...her mind was on one thing and her paws were coated in blood. Not hers, however just a few wart hogs and a pair of hyenas that happened to get in her way. She wasn't sad just angered, her hostility showed the b*****d had taken a tramp instead of her. Why? Hell if she knew, just because she wouldn't whore herself to him and have another litter of cubs, just so he could leave like he did was something she did not need. She listened to the thunder clap again and she roared at it angerily, cursing it to herself. As she did she felt light raind drops fall upon her head. Her muscles twitched, this was not a good day. She hadn't had many for awhile and was having less good ones as time went on. Her ears laid flat on her head as she roamed these dark lands, she had been here once or twice knowing no one would expect to find her here.

Aveshar watched the skies split open and spill their water over the land, smiling as it thundered down outside of his cave. The rain. Storms. Lighting and thunder lit and cracked the sky, shook the earth... He paced out of the cave and into the whirling wind, roaring loudly. There was triumph in his voice. This was more like it! No cheerful sun or singing birds. Skies as black as night and screeching, keening wind. Some branches cracked and blew away, the rocks almost groaned as another flash of lighting struck, close, but not within his lands.. Not yet... But close.

Briseis paused hearing a roar, who in the blazes would be out here besides her? Her eyes narrowed and her tail swayed behind her in the same rythmeic beat as the rain seemed to fall. She had scented that she was upon whomevers borders these were and she assumed that it was the perpatraitor of the roar. She called out, her cool eyes flickering as she bore her ivory fangs her call callous...waiting. She was just going to pass through perhaps who knew. She had left her pride to get away, she was sick of that life for the moment and she was bathing in the rage and envy that consumed her.

Aveshar paused in his fierce revelry and listened to the roar. A female. Interesting. She sounded catty. He smiled evilly. This was his land, soon to be his Pride... Who in their right mind would be out here? She must be lost... He paced toward the roar, giving a lazy reply. His eyes glinted with a bored, cool light. Oh if anyone knew what that look in his eyes met. He smiled softly to himself, then stepped out of the swirling rain into the view of the light-coated lioness. "Lady." He said sofly. There was no anger, no sweet, sensuous hint of rage, no welcome. Just a simple warning... Ladies don't belong out here...'

She laughed harshly looking at him through her white bangs with those cold hearted eyes. Not the normal Briseis to her pride, but the true one. The demoness that was born from her father, not her mother's daughter. She watched as he came into view, he was younger than her it seemed. Her ears flickered forward a moment before laying back on her head. "If you say so," she replied tartly. He looked vaguely familiar for some odd reason, she watched him with cool eyes as the rain poured over her coat her expression uncaring and unsympathizing.

"Are you not?" He countered with an arch of his brow. Despite himself, he was intrigued. What a prissy little thing to be wandering into his lands and holding herself so... What a prissy little thing to answer him with that tart, snappish tone. He would have chuckled, for of all the darkness in him there was still humor, but he didn't. He wouldn't let himself laught at this little lady to her face... "Then pray tell, what are you, little one?" He gave a sensuous growl as he paced toward her, his voice mocking. Even if he was a young king, he was large, and he was strong. He stood taller and large than this delicate little thing, and could break her if it really came to it...

Her eyed watched him, she wasn't completely stupid he was big. And it was not the fat kind, more the muscular 'mess with me your dead look.' Her cool eyes were analyzing him it seemed, she watched the curl of his mane and how his upper lip moved into a growl. The way his white orbs seemed to glow. However the female showed no fear of him, despite of how 'badass' one appeared to be. It wasn't like her and she wasn't going to start now even if it meant her death. Thats how it always went.
Briseis yawned, she wasn't tired and wasn't bored but it seemed fitting for the moment as she looked at him. She could care less of his mocking tones the only thing she could think of was childish. "Last time I checked I was lioness," she replied with the same mocking tone as he.

"Well I really can't call you just, 'lioness', now can I?" He asked in a falsely sweet tone. He had been born a prince, and become a king, and he knew one thing. You almost always adressed a lioness as 'Lady', if nothing else... Even if she wasn't royal, it was better to err on the side of caution. Even if he was dark, and evil, and cruel, Aveshar could be polite. For evil has it's own tenderness, the falsely sweet words he was capable of whispering were locked deep inside until they were needed, but they were there. He shrugged and gave a smile that was cruel, and eyed her again, considering her. It was refreshing to see a lioness who would stand up for herself. He really did hate the cowering, simpering way others reacted to him. The fact that she showed some backbone intrigued him.

"You could, no one is stopping you." she replied. She shrugged, "Plus you never asked my name, so as far as I'm concerned you could call me anything you damned well pleased." She didn't look down to her paws and cower at his smile and as he eyed her, she had had far worse. Her tail flicked, she wasn't one for asking questions. If he wanted her to let her know who he was then he could share and if he wanted to know who she was...ask away.

Aveshar strode forward, rubbing his body under her chin with an overly charming smile. "I would not do so." He clarified. "Do you have a name, Lady? I am Aveshar, Prince of the Dark, King of the Twisted Kingdom... And you are dangerously close to entering that place." He stepped away from her. "And those who enter without permission, do not leave... They simply join the Fields of Shadows..."

She eyed him, she was so not in the mood for male games or charms. She shrugged again, "I do, Briseis of Rackna's pride." she watched him and she almost wanted to follow him. His mysterious, and darkness got to her. She made no movement, "Do I get an invitation then?" she replied in an almost seductive tone that seemed to make her seemingly more attractive. Her bright orbs watched him with a slight edge that could only disturb someone if they looked at her to long.

He paced away from her, the muscles of his back playing beneath his coat, a rippling movement to relieve tension. He tossed his head, silver mane spilling and whispering around him, and then turned at the purr in her voice. Oh, that voice had possibilities.. He chuckled darkly and turned to her. "Does the Lady Briseis wish for an invitation?" He considered her for a moment. "Most who enter with an invitation do not leave either... The Darkness Keeps who it Claims..." There was an Unspoken Warning. I Keep Who I Claim...

She watched him almost enchanted but she didn't let it show. She tilted her head slightly with an innocent smirk "And what incentive do I have to join you Lord Aveshar? After all I have just met you..." her ears flickered forward as she followed his footsteps brushing against his side as she came around to the front to look into his silvery eyes, "Though if I have been claimed who am I to say no?" she purred in the same tone.

Aveshar chuckled and gave the barest bow of his head. Skies this Lady was amusing! He grinned and shrugged, eyeing the Lands, and wondering if he would ever truly want someone to stay with him... If they were his, they were his until they died... And long after... But who would be worth it?
"Perhaps you already have a claim, outside my lands, beyond my influence." He countered, eyeing her. "I am sure such a lady as you has a home, a family that loves her..." He tried not to sneer. His family? Bah! Who cared?
