Yeah, lol. I paused for a moment when I came across that card too. sweatdrop
Only a few of the Future Sight cards really jumped out at me or gave me that "I just have to use that!" feeling. I'm loving Magus of the Abyss and Bitter Ordeal. xd I have plans for them both. I also like Witch's Mist, Snake Cult Initiation and Oblivion Crown... Although. I don't care for the art on Oblivion, they could have done way better. confused

Best card in the set is....Rift Elemental. Amazingly awesome card.

I have to agree. Rift Elemental is the best single card in Future Sight.

I would say the black and blue augurs are pretty good too. The black augur makes it possible to empty your opponents hand by turn 3.
I would say one of my other favorites has to be Storm Entity, it's just fun.
I got a Bitter Ideal and a Shimian Specter (yay draft! the bitter ideal was one of the cards passed to me), and I am trying to figure out how to break Bitter Ideal, and as for the Specter still trying to decide if it is worthy of play beside hypnotic specter.

What does black do best? Destroy and discard (aka putting cards into the graveyard.)!
My 1st turn: swamp, dark ritual, suspend, duress.
1st turn: land, X/1
My 2nd turn: swamp, festering goblin, cabal therapy, flashback, kill X/1. 2 to 0 counters left, depending on how many cards hit with therapies.

"Assripper Myr".
And the card is good too. :]
But the five Vanillas are also veeery high up on my list. :]

Why is everyone freaking about Rift Elemental? Its not playable. It barely makes the cut in limited. And in constructed it will have ZERO applications; believe me, my friend tried and failed miserably. The best cards are Summoner's Pact, Pact of Negation, Street Wraith (all go straight into Hulk Flash to make its combo turn faster than it already is), and Bridge from Below (already has been broken, by my friend known as Giddy Gorgon on other Magic 'boards). Steamflogger boss is...sad. It probably should have been printed with the rest of the riggers (assuming there are some), although it is a hill giant in limited! xp
