Age : 29

Kidnapped Rin Kotatsu, 9, after her school time,1 pm, on Mar 10, 2007.Put her into the boot of the car, and raped her several times on the same day before continuously slashing her using the kitchen knife. Body of Rin Kotatsu was found in a rubbish chute after 4 days of her death.
Hideki Sakamoto was arrested a week later after the body was found. He was at home.



Masahiro Akimoto, Male
Penalty : Death Sentence
Charged with : Raping, murder
Age : 37

Raped and murdered 4 women on four different days. The 4 victims were Michiyo Aki, 18, Saruwatari Kumiko, 20, Nakamura Ren, 18, and Watari Rikko, 21. The bodies were found in the rubbish chute, gauge, rubbish bin and at the Tokyo Bay shore respectively.
Masahiro Akimoto was arrested while he was working.



Taiki Hamano, Male
Penalty : Death Sentence
Charged with : Murder
Age : 40

Murdered 11-year old Sakimoto Taki, male, nephew to Taiki Hamano. Mr Taiki used 'taking him to the park' as an excuse. Instead,Taiki brought Sakimoto to his home and verbally abused him, before taking his frustrations out on young Taiki with a rope and knife. Sakimoto Taiki's body was found on Taiki's bed,8pm on April 2 2007. He was pronounced dead 4 hours before he was found with a rope tied around him, as well as tightly around his neck. Multiple bruises and wounds were found on his body.
Taiki Hamano gave himself in after 2 days.
