I'm really, really disappointed sad
For starters, could Talloulah's (or however it's spelt) accent have BEEN any more annoying?!? I nearly threw something at her. It felt a bit like a sell out, too - was this episode created just to keep the US fans happy? Why don't they ever do a (new) episode in Australia? Or NZ? Or China? Or Japan or anywhere else??
I didn't hate the episode, because it's Doctor Who and it's by far better than anything else on tele/internet. It was a great episode, until the end. We were all calling out to the screen over here and hiding from the Daleks and booing and cheering in all the right places...but...
*sigh*
HUMAN Dalek? (though - LOL, Manlek? rofl )
I can only assume that next week they're going to kill them all, or Sec-cross-mafia-overlord is going to realise that in a human body he can no longer a) travel in space without imploding, b) sucker people to death or c) use his 'whisk' to zap anyone...because there is no whisk...
I fully expect the Doctor to walk up to the Dalek-Sec-thing and just slap it, and watch it fall over.
The Daleks are so scary and iconic, they can't be seriously be hoping to keep that strange hybrid one-eyed monster in the show...it's not scary, it's just ridiculous. They won't be staying, right? *pleads*
I'm also coming to the realisation that I don't quite care what happens to Martha...she's a good enough companion, sure...but perhaps it's just the Doctor's attitude spilling into the audience. Don't worry about the companion, because they'll just leave/be taken away? Not that he doesn't care, but...you know? I don't know if I'm making sense...
Maybe I've just started expecting too much...
And a bit of a weird question...what would happen if you pushed a Dalek over onto it's side? Would it be able to get back up xd ?

Minnn It felt a bit like a sell out, too - was this episode created just to keep the US fans happy? Why don't they ever do a (new) episode in Australia? Or NZ? Or China? Or Japan or anywhere else?? And a bit of a weird question...what would happen if you pushed a Dalek over onto it's side? Would it be able to get back up xd ? The film I've been working on all week was a bit like Doctor Who (There was a time machine whos owner was a bit strange. There are other connections but yeh,) and they went to Japan. (That has nothing to do with anything, but yeh.) It seems stupid it pretty much only in America, the UK or some far away space station/planet.
And I'm certain they had something about that in Two Pints. Can't remember.

I really really really really want them to go to japan!
...mainly cos i really want to go to japan and David Tennant in Japan (or Wales made to look like Japan) would just be amazing cool
and Manleck is just sooo much better than "human dalek" talk2hand

They dont have a huge budget. The flights to get to Japan or Australia are SOOO much longer than the flight to get to New York, and more expensive I suppose too.
If the Doctor goes to Tokyo, it should be like the Shakespeare Code, where Hayao Miyazaki is being controlled, but not by Carrionites xd
But like, they've been to Spain and France I believe for episodes biggrin There wasn't much filmed in New York, quite a lot was filmed here in the UK, like the Theatre (I think ANYTHING with the TEllulah in was filmed in the UK) I think they just did scenery stuff in New York XD

The Last Lord of Time There wasn't much filmed in New York, quite a lot was filmed here in the UK, like the Theatre (I think ANYTHING with the TEllulah in was filmed in the UK) I think they just did scenery stuff in New York XD That's why it's kinda weird they haven't done (or planned, as far as I'm aware) to do any other international episodes. They don't need to move everyone to location any more. They just need to do their research and do post-production computer work to make it look like they're really somewhere else. I wasn't complaining about 'manlek' either, I'd just not heard the term before, but yes, it makes sense to call them that razz

I missed the christmas special cos i was at my friends house and she was saying dont worry it will be on teleport replay dont worry rolleyes
and then we went in the room to watch it and her (really hot) brother was like oh, Its not here... neutral
