Wendy looked at the multiple suitcases that littered the nursery that she had when she was a child.
She had finally done it.
She finally gathered her courage and told Vexen that they couldn't be together anymore.
She still held fond memories of when he had proposed to her, but he seemed to disappear after that. Wendy needed attention, it was sad but true.
And she tried to grow up too fast.
She couldn't sleep, so instead she sat on her bed with her hair untied and in her blue pajamas. After a few minutes, she stood up and walked over to the large window. A few steps led up to it, you could look out over it like it was a balcony. She always loved to dance by it as a child.
This time she knelt, and lifted her hands in prayer.
"Goddess... if there really is a Goddess... big brother told me that there was one. If you can hear me tonight, please... I want to be able to be a child in my mind and heart again, since I tried to grow up so fast last time. I know it's selfish of me, but please..."

She stood up from her place at the window and walked back down to her suitcases. She opened it up and dug through it, laying out her toothbrush and other things. She pulled out the nightgown she had worn as a child and looked at it fondly. The pink bow was a little frayed, and the blue wasn't as stunning as it once was, but it had been sweet. She set it aside before plopping down on the bed to undo her tight ringlets. She shook out the curls, her wavy hair falling down to her mid-back. Looking at herself in the mirror, she stared at her red and puffy eyes.
"I guess I'm still a bit of a crybaby," she sighed as she wiped her eyes.
Her head snapped up when she heard a knock at the door.
((SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN NEXT POST I SWEAR!))
