((I don't have a Lore yet, but Anisha is a Naga and a Killer Chef.))
Anisha rummaged through her basket, pulling out some money Andre had given her. He was well off, though with the riches she had grown up with, it seemed to be such a tight budget...
She smelled some fruit. It seemed so fresh, compared to the dry and wormy fare she had usually seen back at home in the desert. The day was nice, though a little drizzle seemed to be coming. No matter. She- no she didn't. Damn this weather- she had honestly never seen such frequent rains in her life.

Anisha, after buying some fruit, went on to another stall, not noticing Geneveive next to her. She lifted up some herbs she'd never seen before, looking at them curiously. After asking the seller what they were for and getting no response, she looked wordlessly and curiously at Genevieve.
"Um... hello?"

Genevieve turned slowly, pushing her hair out of her face. "Hello," she managed coldly, turning her head back around and eying the marketplace for some alchemical ingredients. She quickly trotted over to another stall, not really noticing that she had left Anisha behind her.

Anisha laughed a bit, following Geneveive.
"If I can ask you something... what's this for? She said, handing Geneveive some herb. "I just came in from another town, so everything's still kind of new to me here..."

Genevieve stopped and turned around, noticing that Anisha had followed her. Emotionlessly, she grabbed the herb and crushed it in her glove. "Its for poison." She turned around and eyed the stones cart. Picking up a few mana stones, she trotted further into the bazaar.

"Whew, thanks..." Anisha said, blushing. "I could never really forgive myself if I gave that to Andre... I'd really hate myself for it. I take it you're an alchemist?"
She regretted saying Andre's name- most people who frequented the town knew he was a pretty powerful soldier and general, and he liked to lay low most of the time...

Genevieve waved her hand behind her head, signalling a "your welcome", not catching the last part that she had said. Trotting along, she gazed at the many goods in store...none of which were valuable to an alchemist like herself.

"There's a stall you can go to not too far from here..." Anisha said, growing very nervous. Was she talking too much? This woman seemed repulsed by her. Was it her tail?
Damnit. She was always so self-conscious. So damn nervous all the time... There was also a somewhat personal question she wanted to ask this woman.
"What's your name?" she said. Better to start small.

"I'm Anisha. Do you have anywhere to stay? Because my fiance and I are usually kind of lonely in such a big house... we have a tiny problem that might need an alchemist's help anyway. Or a doctor's."

She turned around violently, somewhat frustrated from the woman pestering her. Simultaneously she raised her voice, not noticing that she had done so. "What do you want from me?!" Her cheeks blushed slightly as she waited for a reply.

"I'm really sorry if I bothered you." Anisha said, a bit nervous again. "I was just looking for someone to help... whenever I get someone else or a doctor, they keep saying it's a lost cause. It might seem stupid to you, but to me it really means a lot..."
She looked at Genevieve.
"I'll pay you handsomely too, if you need that, or Andre can get you access to anything you want. It's about Andre and me... he's a human, and I'm wondering if we'd ever be able to..."
She stopped herself before saying the last words. After some consideration, she finally took a deep breath and said it.
"I was wondering if it'd ever be possible for the two of us to have a family. Most doctors we visited just shook their heads, and most alchemists said there really was no hope, and it made me kind of sad... I know this probably seems terribly random and stupid to you..."
It was bigger than average for a house, though it was no mansion. Actually, it was far from it. Andre was drinking some tea and going through some paperwork. He was a shy person, and a little sweet and silly, despite his job and his tendency to alarm and tower over people.
Anisha wasn't home yet. Andre trusted her completely, however, she did tend to invite over and pick up total strangers, hoping to make friends. Andre found this both irritating and charming, guessing that it was the shock of a new home that compelled Anisha to do this.

Anisha led Genevieve to a largish house, where Andre was reading in the largish main room. It was neat and airy, making the room seem a bit larger than it really was, and was an overall pleasant place.
"Um, hello there..." Andre stood up, looking at the two. As Anisha introduced Genevieve and explained how she came to get there, Andre nodded.
"There's a military library I can get into if you need anything from there... otherwise money's all I can offer you." he said.
