~The Modern Room~
Here is where all the latest fashions and trends can be found. This hall has multiple corners with different decades featured with in. Everything from 1950s sock hop to 1970s guitar riffs, to 1990s Electronic music.
Feel free to feel the groove of the modern age in this room!

((I'll start!))
A song started in the formerly silent room; "Come Down" by the pillows. As it reached its first climax, the door burst open, and Alcy went shooting through the door, grinning madly and looking as if she were flying... until she landed on her face and tumbled over several times, coming to a stop lying against the opposite wall. "Ugh... I really gotta work on my entrance" she mumbled as she pulled herself up, brushing off her hippie skirt. She bobbed her head to the music. "So this is what it's like for life to have a soundtrack..." She snickered. I hope a host shows up soon... the shiny one, maybe. Heh, Tamaki's shiny....

Kaggy grinned. She finally had an excuse to wear all the crazy clothes she had in her closet. And this ball was sure to be interesting.
A few catfights over the hosts, arguments, excitement, noise--oh, this would be fun. She couldn't wait....now, if the hosts would just arrive.

Camille was in the wrong room for her century, with her white tunic and flaming hair (a cool wig she borrowed from these acting girls...). She came slowly down the stairs, anyone would think she was out of place, but Camille could own whatever look she had on. She headed over to the 70s corner to sit down in a deep purple bean bag chair. She sank into it heavily, today had been very hectic trying to get everything into order just as Tamaki and Kyouya wanted. She smiled wanely and watched people boogey down on the dance floor.

She was glad she was able to get her designer to put something nice together for her. Her sandals clacked against the concrete floor as she walked to the modern era room. She knew her long white dress/tunic wasn't right for the century, but it was modern, right? And they lived in modern time? Well, then that would mean she was able to where what she liked, didn't it? Anything that was modern! Against her own will, a smile found it's way to her soft lips. As she turned into the room, she took note that there were already people here. She sighed inwardly as she thought Well, at least I'm not the first one here... She looked around the room and marveled at the wonderful, and most likely time consuming decorations that were hung delicately around the room. She hummed as the buzz of the music reached her ears. Blinking her bright, sapphire eyes, she clacked over to a vacant seat and sat down, strumming her fingers to the beat. She hoped this would be exciting.

Alcy stopped bobbing her head to the music as the song ended, and a new one started. "Hare Hare Yukai! She shouted, and dashed into the center of the room, immediatley starting the dance. She turned toward Camille, Meiko and insano woman Kaggy, and shouted "C'mon, guys! You're supposed to dance at a ball!" as she kept replicating the moves flawlessly.

Camille smiled tiredly. She did want to enjoy the dance part of the evening...
She jumped out of her bean bag, as it made a squelching sound. She muttered slightly, she had trusted Tamaki to get bean bags, he came back with 'authentic bean bags'... aka, really old and kinda gnarly. Oh well, no one seemed to mind.
She ran out to the center of the dance floor next to Alcy, "Heya chica! Having fun?" She smiled, laughing slightly as the wearyness disappeared from her face.

Kaggy clapped her hands, laughing. She hadn't danced for ages. Running, she joined Alcy and Camille. Spinning, she started dancing.

Alcy grinned as Camille and Kaggy joined her, still moving perfectly in sync with the normal dance. "Hells yeah! How could I not? I just wish one of the hosts would show up soon. Shouldn't they have been here to greet the guests? She shrugged and continued the awesomeness.

Kaggy shrugged. "Probably busy, or something." She laughed again, making a decision--she'd let loose today, and just have fun--she could worry another day about everything. Now, it was time to dance.

Camille continued to gyrate her hips and hold her arms in the air, looking like a Firey Greek Goddess. She lowered her arms slightly to speak to Alcy, "Tamaki said something about costumes, grand enterance..." She shrugged and closed her eyes, letting the rhythem take her, "I'm sure they'll be here when they can."

"That actually sounds more like what he would do... I guess I can wait." The song ended, switching over to Shissou. Alcy screamed with glee, before dropping to the floor and attempting a horrible performance of breakdancing. She kept falling down and messing up, but kept going because it was insane and awesome, and she was enjoying herself. "In the meantime, let's squeeze as much fun out of this as we can! I want plenty of memories before I graduate! She got off the floor and started dancing again, although now that the song didn't have a set dance, she was dancing rather... spaztically.

Kaggy nodded, agreeing with Alcy. They might as well go crazy--it was fun. "So...who's betting that by the time the hosts make their grand entrance, half the people are gone?"
As she asked the question, Kaggy rose her arms and started spinning around in rhythm to the music.

Alcy looked around. "Well, seeing as how there are only four people here, I'm gonna say either pretty slim because none of us are gonna leave, and it's gonna turn into more of a weird sleepover atmosphere, or all the people will be gone." Alcy started to do the dance from Napolean Dynamite for no reason.
