As recommended by Crowley in "Magick Without Tears" I've decided to start a journal logging all of my Magick attempts and the outcome. I've also decided to try at least one thing every single day so to keep the journal regularly updated.

My problem is this...I'd like to do it online, however I'd also like to have it password protected in order to only let certain people read it. Does anybody know of a website(such as livejournal, which wont work for this btw as there is no password system) that I could do this with?

Blogger allows password protected blogs? o.0

EDIT:

Nvm, decided not to password protect it, just isn't worth it, I need to get over being so secretive anyway xD lol

This will be interesting to study, in time. I like the fact that you included video, unfortunately with my slow connection I probably won't be able to view it. You've earned a bookmark nonetheless. Documentation is a wonderful thing.

I actually just added a new entry and a new video =). This time of my first attempt at telekenesis, using the same exercise that Obscurus and Lobo did, I couldn't make it spin completely, but I made it spin back and forth alot.

As for the pyrokenesis vid, it's not that interesting, in fact, you can barely see the detail of the flame because of my cam's crappy quality, if you CAN load one, load the telekenesis one, it'll be alot more entertaining.

Documentation is a great thing.
A friend and I want to create a supernatural entities grimore with information on different beings, possible encounters, etc.

Actually, that's a bad idea. A magick journal, or Book Of Shadows, is meant to be handwritten so we know it is you. Or your children down the line. As you can see, I named my journal "Book Of Shadows" as a joke on gaia.

But I am staring at my real on on my computer desk. So... no. Not the best idea.

Not so, m'lady. It's becoming increasingly common to use the Intarbutt as a place of holding all your spells and whatsit, given that there's a wealth of material you can just copy-pasta straight in (quicker and easier than handwriting!), or provide links to (less time-consuming than cross-referencing!), and if the worst comes to it, you can just print it straight off 8D

Now that's Magick. |D

I don't think that writing something out by hand will completely die off. I'd like to see someone have a dream and jump up in the middle of the night, turn the computer on, open a program and then write it down. But on the flip side, the type of online shareable blogging is great for sharing. Nothing beats learning from other's ideas and mistakes as well as your own.

I think I listened to Mr. John Crow and Keith418 talk about the subject magickal record keeping on one of my favorite podcasts Thelema Coast to Coast. I don't quite remember which one it was, I listen to them at work.

Well, I just use Livejournal's evil twin, Greatestjournal. You can't password it, but you can put it on friends only, and you get to approve of friends.

Livejournal also has a twin called deadjournal.

Mine is handwritten, but recently the journal should be in whatever medium you are most comfortable with. They are traditionally handwritten, but in our technology age it can be whatever you want it to be, so long as it's yours.

Yea, and because of two things:

1. I'm living with a Jehovah's Witness(which means hell would boil forth if it was found and I'd lose all of my work).

2. I can't hand write anything for s**t.
