Well wouldn't you know it? There was nothing to do. A dark blur stood motionless high over the city of Durem. He was probably nothing more then a speck easily confused to be a bird by the unweary humans milling about below. There weren't as many humans as he would have expected, though. Rain clouds hung thick and grey over the sky, dark with rain. It wasn't raining yet but it would be soon. Quite soon. The wind, having gone from a mild and dainty breeze to a rather irking gust, lashed at the figure's black coat. The tattered ends of it flew around him like a menacing shadow. The creature let out a very loud, obnoxious yawn which he didn't both stiffling. His yellow eyes, coated with malice and something very saddistic, narrowed at the human world below. Such boring things they were. His narrow cat-like pupils narrowed when a bolt of lightening streaked across the like like a yellow serpant. It was accompanied by a monstrous roar of thunder. Ichigo's pointed ears perked out of instinct but he never even flinched. One small hand rested lightly on the hilt of the black sword clinging to his waist. " My, my, my," he purred to himself in a voice that would send shivers down a person's spine. It was not the type of voice that generally belonged to the sane. " I think it's time to find something fun to do," His voice, besides radiating a vicious intent, also leaked confidence. Over confidence. It could usually give someone the idea he was pig headed and full of himself. Which he was. Lightening lit up the sky again. The figure no longer stood where he was. As if by magic he was running through air, spiralling towards the ground. He' disappear and then reappear a few inches closer to the ground. It was a feat that was quite easy for him. He'd long ago masted Shunpo[flash step]. A grin, not quite maniacal, but getting there, had slipped across his face. His minute fangs revealed themselves. A speck of rain landed on top of his head. Through his mess of orange spikes yes, he could actually feel it. It didn't matter, really. The rain didn't bother him at all. The small being landed precisely atop the back of a park bench. He had to be no taller then a foot. Out of habbit he let his right hand rest on his sword's hilt. The park he decided to inhabit for the moment was not too far from the Elderspark shop, as it turned out. Ichigo could sense the magical aura that radiated from the place. Perhaps he'd run across something interesting. He scanned the area with a keen glance. His smirk never dwindled as he watched and waited. A few more drops hit him atop the head. He peered up for a moment, his look dwindling to none of boredrom but only for a moment. Rain meant the chance that someone, or something, was out dwindled dramatically. Perhaps the breeze would blow the clouds away before they could release their load. Unlikely, in the long run. He almost pouted, wrenching his gaze from the clouds. He lowered his rump to the back of the bench, letting his left leg drop down over the edge and pulling his right one up close to him. His arms were crossed and his sword poked up between his bent right elbow. Waiting sure was boring.

Arjun's head spun this way and that. He had gotten lost after fleeing from his guardian who had insisted on giving him something called a "bath" that he certainly didn't wish to find out more about. Therefore, he had squirmed and flailed until he was free and off flying through the park. As an after thought, he realized that may not have been the smartest idea since he now didn't know where he was or how to get back home. And mud coating his fur was becoming a nuisance.
I shouldn't have run off like that, he thought sadly as he trotted through the park, trying to find some familiar surroundings again.
A flash of light in the sky made him jump, but the boom of thunder got a squawk out of him. Wings flapped quickly, lifting him off the ground. He looked up to find the sky had darkened since last he looked. A drop of water splashed right between his eyes. Shaking his head, he tried to rid the droplet from his face. He started flying around the park, praying he would find his way back before more water splashed down on him.

Ichigo's ears perked. Something was approaching - something that wasn't human. He tilt his head upwards, trying to catch sight of the thing. He hadn't been on edge persay but he was sort of alert. Should his incredibly annoying 'owner' catch hold of him, the consequences would surely be unpleasant. His small size was definitely a disadvantage. If he'd been bigger he probably have killed the wretch by then. He hated being bossed around. A squawk reached his ears and he found himself covering them. It was such an annoying noise. The Kunkun looked both agitated and bored now. He was now intent on finding what had made that noise. He was lookin' to silence it, to be honest. Well, perhaps toy with it first. This brought a spark of amusement to his black eyes. It didn't matter how big the beast was. Ichigo always underestimated his small size. It didn't appear to be a big threat, it's spiritual pressure was pretty mild. A flash of white caught his attention. Ichigo quickly looked up, hand tightening round his sword. What seemed to be a bird thing was wheeling around in the sky. He cocked an eyebrow and then vanished in a blur. He apepared right before the thing's face, eying it boredly. It looked like a freaky cross between a monkey and some sort of fowl. How boring. "What have we here?" he inquired, using the monkey's snout as a step to leap up to his head. The ride was rather rough but Ichigo kept his balance with ease.
From his perch atop Arjun's head he surveyed the dark clouds. He'd only done so for a minute before a fine drizzle started up. He wrinkled his nose in distaste before getting back to the matter at hand; how would he amuse himself with this thing? Well. He'd always wanted a steed although he hardly needed one. He could probably run faster then this thing could fly. But oh well, how his hooves ached at times. Well, that was a lie, but who cared? With a grin, Ichigo dug his hooves into the Kyunru's head and grabbed the longest tufts of fur he could find. "Giddyup!" he cackled, pulling violently at Arjun's fur. Ichigo had made a quick assessment of him from his appearence. He looked weak and easily pushed around. Not one to stand up for himself. This is what lead the Kunkun's daring moves. Arujun was quite bigger then he after all but if he couldn't act tough that didn't mean nothing.

Arjun balked when a black blur appeared before him. What was that? But a second later, he felt something push off his nose before it landed on his head. He barely had time to register what exactly was happening. Pain erupted from a spot on his head when the thing yanked on his fur. Arjun let out a squawk in pain as he shook his head, trying to throw off the creature. However, the thing didn't release its hold on his fur.
Arjun touched down on the ground again. Shaking his head so much was throwing off his flying. The last thing he wanted was another crash landing. "Let go!" he yelped, wishing again that he hadn't left his guardian's side.

Well, he should've expected resistence - but it had sort of slipped his mind when he'd thought of his ingenious plan. Ichigo's face twisted a bit in concentration as he held on tight to the monkey's fur. His grip faltered for just a moment but quickly regained its vice-like hold. Rain blurred his vision and his blinks became more frequent. He rolled his eyes as they landed, not getting a bit deterred by the monkey things violent head shaking. "Quit your whining!" he snorted, leaping from the thing's head and hovering about four feet in front of his face. "Tch," he eyed the monkey with a cynical, prying gaze. "Pa-the-tic," he taunted, his black eyes flashing in the lightening. He was hoping to draw out even a little bit of fight from the creature. Ichigo had determined he wouldn't make a very good mode of transportation. The thing would probably be frightened by everything that moved. And it'd be more fun fighting him. He drew his sword from his side, putting it right in front of his own face and examining it. Black aura with a crimson outline began to snake up it in menacing tendrils. He turned his eyes on the monkey. "Let's see how fast you can run!" he laughed coldly, raising his sword. "Getsuga TenshÅ!" he shouted with a cackle, bringing down his sword which had been raised over his head. A broad whip of black and red aura spurted from the tip of the sword. It was surprisingly big coming from something of Ichigo's size. It was about three times the length of his body and somewhat skinny, like a whip. However small it was it could strip flesh from bone. It dug into the ground causing a boom and an explosion to carve out a broad gorge in the glass. Clots of sod were send flying as the deadly beam of energy went flying towards the Kyunru.
Ichigo was small, yes, but his powers were not to be understimated.

Arjun growled at this creature, upper lip raising to bare his teeth. He hadn't been whining, and he wasn't pathetic. Before he could argue, he noticed the sword in the thing's hand. A squawk of panic left him as he leaped out of the way of the oncoming attack. He got away barely, getting the tip of his tail singed.
"What is your problem?" he demanded of the creature, growling in the back of his throat. All he wanted was to find his way back to his guardian and go home where he would be nice and warm and dry. But instead, he had to run into whatever that black thing was. He didn't appreciate having his fur pulled. He liked it even less being nearly killed.

How amusing it was to watch the bird thing flap around in panic. With a twisted smile as dark as his attire, the Kunkun let the whip like crescent fade away. However, his grin faltered considerably as he noticed Arjun had escaped his attack's angry jaws. "Hmph," he said in a childish yet all the more fiendish manner. Although he didn't have much to complain about, he could just drag on their little game. It was as if Ichigo hadn't heard the Kyunru's inquiry. He had all right but it was such a dumb question. "Boring," The Kunkun cocked his head and let his sword lift up up rest on his shoulder. The tendrils of black and crimson aura began to dance around his small body, coiling around it like a serpant who lacked a head and a tail. He put his free hand on his hip and began to casually walk on the air to the monkey. "Is that all you've got?" First he yawned ever so slightly then he peered straight into Arjun's yellow eyes with his own black ones. The mask over the left side of his face had begun to slowly piece itself together.
