Okay, I've been asking myself this for a LONG time now. You see, I collect the Suikoden III manga, all the way up to the final volume, and it was a great ride up until the end. Then, I asked myself this.
'The Suikoden III manga was very well recieved and was a surprise to those that didn't expect it. Maybe Konami will drop a Suikoden III anime on us next?'
And since then, I CANNOT stop thinking about it. I WANT a Suikoden III anime! How about a Disgaea 2 anime???
What games have you played that you would LOVE to see in manga/anime form?

What happened to regular cartoons/comics? Has everyone forgotten the superior Western animation/drawing style?

BGBW What happened to regular cartoons/comics? Has everyone forgotten the superior Western animation/drawing style? No, but Suikoden isn't made by Americans. If it were, it would feel weird to see it as an anime. Do you really think a Suikoden cartoon/anime would feel like Suikoden if Americans headed that project?

If it were, it would feel weird to see it as an anime. Do you really think a Suikoden cartoon/anime would feel like Suikoden if Americans headed that project? You question was about which GAME would you like to see as a Anome/Manga, not specifically Suikoden. Considering a great majority of games are developed in the west, it would make more sense for them to be made into a cartoon/comic.

Most of my favorite games that have been turned into animes sucked. The Tales Of Eternia Anime sucked so bad it made me wanna slap Namco for even considering making it and so did the Disgaea anime in my eyes. I remember reading some where about a Phantom Brave anime and I have really high hopes for the Devil May Cry anime.

Toni Toxin Most of my favorite games that have been turned into animes sucked. The Tales Of Eternia Anime sucked so bad it made me wanna slap Namco for even considering making it and so did the Disgaea anime in my eyes. I remember reading some where about a Phantom Brave anime and I have really high hopes for the Devil May Cry anime. My point exactly. Game turned into Anime - sucks. Game turned into cartoon - brilliant. It all boils down to character design:

The old Sonic cartoons where amusing to me they had a nice sense of action and humor. The Sonic anime just doesn't have that to me. As I said it depends on the game really. Like I can't see a game like Fire Emblem be a cartoon and the short lived OVA that Fire Emblem had was badass and some what proves my point XD.

It was soooo boring. It was like everything Donkey Kong did when he wasn't stopping a Kremling invasion force, which is like watching the first 20 minutes of 2001 without any of the aesthetic camera work over and over. Nice job on the character design though.

It's only a matter of time before they made a Phoenix Wright anime. It has like, two different manga series at the moment.
I'm sure I'd find it thoroughly entertaining.
