Read the title, I am. Or the opposite, whatever. Well in school I'm knitting a Gryffindor scarf for my friend. Well, now I'm finished.
I'll try to post a pic later.
I'm so cool, I can knit.
Talk about cool/nerdy hp stuff you've done, want to do or just tell me how cool I am.
Can you knit?

That is beyond cool. I should force one of my friends to make me a Slytherin scarf.
... Wow. There's some house sterotypes right there. You, chibi, the kind Gryffindor, makes a scarf for your friend. I, the 'mean' Slytherin, force one of my friends to do so. Yay for living up to expectations!
Anyway, that's really cool. I wish I could knit. I used to be able to, kinda...

I would totally do that if I knew how to knit. To bad it's almost summer...I wish I had a Slytherin bathing suit lol.
Speaking of nerdy HP things, I bought one of those expensive Harry Potter robes off of Alivans for like $100 bucks, then I bought a wand. I think I lost both of them. =/

My sister and I bought Hufflepuff scaves from Alivan's a few years ago. They are the "old school" style though. We wear them to all the HP movie and book releases. We are such nerds!
Another thing............has anyone purchased any of the Harry Potter stuff at Hot Topic? I bought the Hufflepuff pin and wear at at work on my name tag. Yet again, I'm a nerd.
And to answer the question............no................I can't knit but I can crochet! biggrin

I think theres a book at my work on how to knit. I'm gonna look for it, because I've been wanting to make scarves for quite some time. Even though its in the middle of August.
When September rolls around, I think I'm going to make Harry Potter ones, and sell them to my friends who adore the series... for quite cheap, though. =) Just enough to pay for the supplies.
I need to be saving up to go to New York next summer with my Performing Arts group. sweatdrop

On the topic of nerdy things:
At the book release party, I got my friend to draw a Dark Mark on my arm. It looked so awesome, I was super-impressed. But other people gave me weird looks. Especially since the pen didn't wear off for about 3 days...

But then people would start thinking im satanic or something.
Has anyone seen the Slytherin/Gryffindor rings at the official Harry Potter store?
They are totally wicked, I'm going to buy the Slytherin ring.
And maybe the Sword of Gryffindor.
You know, Harry Potter items are going to be like amazingly hard to find and expensive about 20 years down the road...
