Aiden? That was the only person she suspected who would be rapping gently on her wooden door. Smiling, she tried to pinch more color into her cheeks. The woman pushed back a few loose strands of pumkin-hued hair that spilled from the spools of golden locks wound into a messy bun at the base of her neck. Though she was plainly clad and had her jewels and corset removed, Annabelle was still projecting a quite magnificently goddess-like appearence. The frail woman still appeared beautiful - she was too shy and too humble to ever admit it, though.

She smoothed the folds of her thin-silken, lavender gown and swished her way gracefully to the door. Please, let it be Aiden. Every bit of her conscious being was hoping and praying that it would be Aiden standing on the other side of the large mahogany door. With eyes clenched in hope, she placed her delicate fingers on the doorknob and gently pulled the structure toward her, leaving it ajar after a few seconds. She opened her eyes, and was greeted with the sight of Sione DeFleure. The Navigator of the Falach Lasair managed to allow herself one small sigh of disappointment, and kept the door open for the pretty young woman to walk in.

"Hello," she stated, simply, her voice as soft and sweet as honey. Annabelle lightly stepped back and created more space for Sione to walk through. "You have come to check my health and recovery's progress, I assume?" She inquired, lightly dipping her head in reverence to the woman. She wanted to show this woman respect - obviously Sione was well on her way to becoming the ship's doctor and was knowledgeable in the medical arts.

A breeze ruffled Annabelle's dress, and she longed for Sione to come in so that she may close the door; even though the air spilling over her was extremely cleansing and fresh.

From the woman's appearance, Sione was right about her being sick from before, even with Nicholas's preachy statement about the illness that had struck this woman's life so young. When the navigator had opened the door, she caught the indifference look and nods to Annabelle. "Yes.. I assume that I am allowed?" she asked as she entered the room and looked around, awaiting for the woman to settle and for her to proceed on her check-up. "If you allow me.. might I conduct a more physical check-up due to what I'm witnessing. I just want to rule out acouple things," she murmured as she looked up at Annabelle with her glow-like seaweed green eyes. Of all today, she had her pumpkin orange curls in a messy ponytail.

"Miss Annabelle.. Umm Annabelle if I'm permitted to call you that. I'm Sione DeFleure.. but you can call Sione if you wish or Sissy to be on informal grounds if you want that aside," Sione said as she smiles slightly and looked at the frail woman, looking up and down to make a quick analysis, seeing a couple things she wanted to check and address with Annabelle herself. "May I ask you something to start off our check up? How's your eating?" she asked, to confirm a suspicious thought in her head that would needed to be prod and poked at later.

Thankfully, the woman closed the door behind Sione and followed the nice young woman to her bed, which she sat upon moments thereafter. "Of course you're allowed," replied Annabelle with a smile, smoothing over her lavender gown and positioning herself on the bed so that she lay with her head on her pillow and her arms wrapped protectively over her belly, which had began to slosh again. Quickly, she stifled the feeling and closed her eyes, listening to Sione speak so that she may distract her uneasy stomach. "I'll call you Sione, it's a beautiful name." Voiced the pale and ashen navigator, swiping some perspiration off her brow and from behind her neck.

Anna listened again, the sickness growing steadily in her lower abdomen. She let out a small moan of discomfort and turned on her side to face Sione - eyebrows drawn together in slight pain. Though the pain only increased, Annabelle found herself inclined to reply: "Well... I, I'm not too sure of that, Sione. I haven't been eating much lately because of this strange ailment in my stomach that appeared back in the tavern," she shivered, "If you remember the bile everywhere, you'll know what sort of ailment I refer to. The vomiting seems to have only progressed, and usually happens earlier in the day. Which is odd... usually there is nothing to regurgitate in the morning before I break my fast.."

"Hm all right," Sione said as she listened to Annabelle of her small statement. With the facts that were given to her, in Sione's mind can add up to three things, one of them which requires a bed partner. "Since you haven't ate much of anything, I can rule out an ailing flu for you. One other is either motion sickness or .." she muses as she looks over Annabelle then made a motion over to Annabelle and sat besides her. "May get up and face ye back to me then sit on your knees and lean forward on your bed?.. I'm going to try something to reside the pain just a bit," she said with a bit of a welsch brogue accent; something that she is completely aware of when she is steadily concentrating on a thought that has been bothering her for a while.

Motion sickness autimatically was ruled out of her mind. She was indeed a pirate and had, hitherto, never grown sick because as a result of the gently swaying waves. "Motion sickness or... what?" Inquired Annabelle, feeling a knot of fear clench her lower belly. What could it be, if it is not motion sickness? Surely, it is not the consumption back again... no. Then, what could it be? Is it.. something far more serious? Trepidation leaking out of her false bravado, Anna raised her head off the pillow slightly - trying to gather all the words from the young doctor. When Sione placed herself beside the sickly woman on the soft downy sheets, Anna tilted her head back onto the pillow and stifled a moan as another tremor of pain raced through her nimble body. She felt like she was going to vomit again: this she wanted to prevent. In attempts to prevent the bile from rising up to her mouth and spilling out, Annabelle raised her hand to her lips and tried to inhale slowly and deeply. She failed. Moments later, the orange haired girl sprung up from her resting place and ran to the open porthole - regurgitating all that she had consumed that day into the ocean.

"I apologize for that," she sniffled, wiping the residue of vomit off her face with a small rag that sat on her bed table. "It was rude of me." She confessed, grabbing a small cup of rum that Aiden had left for her during his last visit, and swished it in her mouth. Once the rancid taste was gone, she returned to the bed and listened to Sione once more, intentively, and with not much more pain. In fact, her stomach seemed to be resting for the time being, for which Annabelle was thankful. The woman faced Sione, a surprised look smeared on her porcelain features as she heard what the woman wanted her to do. "Oh, uhm, of course." She mumbled, feeling slightly degraded as she moved into the position that the medic instructed her to move into.

"Okay.. just breathe normally as I do this," Sione said as she got on her own knees and press her palms against the lower back of Annabelle then press again. "Is that helping to reside it?" she asked as she continues to press gently, giving the pelvic muscles a chance to stretch. When she felt a certain shift, she knew it. Oh man, why does it have to be her to find this. "Umm Annabelle," she murmured as she got up and sat back on the bed, pulling the woman up to a sitting position. "I do hate to say this.. but all your symptoms fit only one thing.. so please don't kill me" she said as be breathe. "You're pregnant."

Annabelle stopped, frozen. A baby? No, it wasn't possible! It simply wasn't! But oh... it was. She and Aiden had been bed partners for so long, and Anna had been experiencing morning sickness for a few months now but had thought nothing of it. And here she had almost completed her first trimester. She felt sick, jovial, and terrified al at once. She did not know what to make of this, save for the fact that she would mother a half-breed and, alone, would be a mother. Aiden. I should tell him. No! Her mind snapped and she remembered Aiden's inability to settle down with just one woman. He'd told her that from the start. And now she's pregnant? If she told him, would he leave her? If he did, she would lose her mind.

Quickly, she darted her eyes to Sione and smiled slightly. "Tell no one," and then, she climbed off the bed and left the room, leaving the door open for Sione's future exit.
