They dont get married at the end because
*spoiler warning- if you havent beat the game that is ((has been put in white by the way >.> I dont want to spoil it for those who have not yet beaten the game)):
In the beginning she reminds Link of there marriage but at the end you discover shes a sage and she truly does say it wont work out (Im playing the game right now. Thats how I know)
