Please do not flame me only because I am mentioning one of the most repeated topics as of recently. But please read my post carefully first before making any comments.

I am a little bit concerned about how quite many people around me start to stereotype all "Asians" because of the horrible incident. And, yes, while I am perfectly aware that India is also a part of Asia, for example, I am quite emphasizing about the case of more Korean-looking Asians (yes, like Chinese, Japanese, Singaporean, etc). I have heard that some people around me have started to badmouth Asians in general and how they are in the US only to "worsen" or to "destroy" the peace of the country. As I am an Asian, I understand that I may be biased, but I feel quite offended by such mindless remarks.

I do understand that stereotypes DO exist for a reason. I could even understand how some people stereotype that all Asians watch Anime (please, this is just an example) because more than one Asian watch Anime. If more than one "type" of person does the same thing with another person of the same "type", then as much as I dislike stereotypes, I could understand how stereotypes are formed. However, I find it quite ridiculous how one group of people gets stereotyped only because of literally one person from that group. I find it quite upsetting, but hey, this is the guild of knowledge, and I am currently asking for some knowledge from your opinions, the knowledge that I might not grasp yet because of the existing bias considering my own race.
