If my name isn't an indicator, I'm a science nut. So it makes me happy to be in this guild cool
Since I'm angry I'll tell you a little story. In third grade I was identified as being gifted in reading and writing (I'm probably not anymore. I've caught up with myself. You know?). I met with the person from the county who organizes the gifted whatever the other day so she could be dumb and she asked me what I wanted to do when I was older. I said "I dunno, some type of science" and she laughed. "Honey," she said "Stick to what you know. You aren't gifted in science. Be a writer." D:< So I'm out to prove to her that you don't have to be brilliant to enjoy and be good in science.
So, I like anything space related, microbiology, virology, things like that. I'll also poke you until you believe that global warming is real D:< Because I'm tired of people saying "DUR IT DONT MATTER" Even if it isn't causeing the world to heat up, there shouldn't be that much pollution anyway. You know?
Mm, I like music. I'm in love with Bob Dylan. I'd marry him I think.
I play a few things.
I love to read. I like just about anything. I try not to read too many love stories though because I cry and get sad u___u.
I'm 15. I'm a sophomore in high school.
I dunno.

Awe, how sad, that someone would tell a kid that, but kudo's to you for not letting it bring you down.
I agree with you, you don't need to be brilliant to enjoy science and be good in science.
Yes, Global Warming is real and totally agree that yeah even if, (and that's a big iff) global warming wasn't real.... rolleyes there shouldn't be that much pollution.
Why can't we be enviromental freindly.
I just don't get it.
What's so hard about recycling?
or even simpler using trash can's.

I say screw the people!!! I was told in elementary public school (before I was switched to private) that I might be some kind of space case. They wanted me to study languages and become an English teacher but to stay away from science 'cause I was horrible at math! As much as I love learning languages (I can easily read at least in 5 languages) my passion is science.
Well Nucleotide, you're a sophomere in high school! Perfect!!! There's universities like mine that offer internships during the summer. You get to work hands-on on a research project. Let me know if you're interested.
I'm a Biologist. But my PhD research is focused on HIV and neurotoxicology. Right now my project is dealing with extreme virology. ^.^ heart

I dunno if I wanna do virology or what yet u__u. I'd like virology because it interests me but I like space but I'm scared because of the big numbers xD

I'm a biggie lover of extraterrestials and space. I LOVE sci-fi and my favorite movies usually are science based, if not loosley. I have much consern for the health of the general public. I study up on the nasty things companies put in their food.
