At ruined Lab305 building
When Ray Kit returned to his work place, Lab was gone.

Returning here again.
Ray Kit thought as he looked around his own room. It was left quite a long time, and he just was only able to see dust everywhere. Sighing, the man slowly put his luggage down at one corner of his room and thought that there was a huge work for him to do.
The cook had been visited his homeland to see his master who taught him about cooking. It had been a while since his last visit.
His eyes met a familiar paper lied under few cookbooks. Picking it up, it was some information about Lab305. How he missed there. His new working place. He decided to go there to visit Doctor Kyou and the others after he done cleaning this messy room.
Ray Kit hummed music along the way to the lab. Dr.Kyou must like his new dessert he brought specially only for him. A box of Coffee-Flavored Liquor Chocolate Cheesecakes was holding in his hand.
But it dropped on the floor as the lab revealed itself to his black eyes.
A ruined, dirty, collapsed building was that pretty, great lab305 he ever worked for??? Why it was ... like this...??? Don't be kidding...
"WHAT HAPPENED TO LAB!?!?!?" He was sure he didn't skip this place that long.

Elven ears perked up at the familiar voice that screamed just now, Kyou's head popped up from behind a large boulder as he looked into the direction where it came from.
"RAY!!!" dropping the large metal box he was hauling with a soft thud, he stood up and started to jog towards Ray, his unconcealed afro hair bouncing lightly in the sunlight. It was only days after the explosion, and Kyou was still picking up salvageable research books and notes, as well as moving the items back to Tsu's apartment where he's staying temporarily now.
Lazarus was also nearby, he followed Kyou along out of guilt, since it was his fault the lab was reduced to rubbles right now. He felt that he was obliged to help restore the lab. Rubbing on the Raevan tanks, he was trying to clean the charred surfaces, but it doesn't look very successful. He too, turned his head when he heard the scream, but he didn't move forward because Kyou was still mad at him and refused to talk to him. So he just stayed at his position and continued to rub on the glass tank.

The cook turned toward someone that called his name and saw a blacked afro man he never seen before. Was he a new servant? Or a town officer who came to check this ruined building? Anyhow that face was look familiar...
Ray stood still until that man came close, then he decided to ask, "Excuse me... but who are you?"

Kyou stopped short as Ray asked the question, eyes bulging. The explosion ruined his beautiful long hair and burnt his skin a little too, that's probably why Ray couldn't recognise him. Although he wouldn't admit it, but he got a little hurt inside when Ray uttered the question. "It's me!! Kyou!! Don't you remember??!" he said as he tried his best to flatten his overly large hair with his hands, putting on his best efforts to look like how he used to be.

The young cook raised his eyebrows at afro man claimed he is Kyou. He looked at his expression as he was trying to make his large hair got flatten. Silence fell between them a while, still Ray didn't want to believe what the man said. He did have elven ears, black long horns and devil tail like Dr.Kyou, but his expression and that large afro was totally not him. What about that dark skin too. Dr.Kyou had white skin, not this dark.
Ray was not innocent person who could believe in people's words at first meeting. People these days couldn't be trusted.
"I'm... not sure you are Dr.Kyou... He has adorable black long hair and white skin... has pride and little arrogant look. I'm so sorry to say this but do you have a proof you are Dr.Kyou?"

Kyou would had cried on the spot if he still had any tears left in him. Now his employees couldn't recognize him too!! Not only that, he's probably suspecting him as some kind of criminal right now. How sad!!
He hunched a little and sighed, thinking of how to identify himself to Ray. The only way to prove that he's Kyou, is having someone else confirm his identity. Since most of Kyou's items are ruined in the explosion. Then he remembered the person that followed him here as well.
Standing sideways a little, he pointed a finger at Laz's direction. Frowning his eyebrows to show his displease. "There, I'm sure you could recognise... Lazarus." he spoke through gritted teeth.
Though he couldn't hear what Kyou and Ray were saying, Lazarus couldn't help but was taking sneaky peeks at the both of them. He jumped a little as Kyou pointed in his direction, and tried to hide behind the tank. Although he's not very sure why he was hiding.

"Lazarus?" To his surprise, he looked to the direction the afro man pointed to. Ray could see only the red horns and a bit of white hair. He was still not so sure and made his way to Lazarus.
Revealing the incubus raevan, Ray nearly screamed out in exciting.
"LAZARUS! Uhh... what happened with that body of yours?!" Ray said out loud when he saw Lazarus' new body... he was in Sigel stage now, but he paused as something popped up in his mind. Then... that man is ...
Turning fast to afro man, Ray couldn't help but pointed out with trembling finger. He said in low voice with his uncertain mind, "So.... so.... YOU are real Kyou-sama!? But what happened here!? And... and your beautiful hair...?!" The young man felt like his dream had shattered.

A little unwillingly, Kyou followed Ray towards Lazarus. He still had a strong grudge against Lazarus and doesn't want to be anywhere near him, for too long anyway.
Lazarus fidgetted uncomfortably as Ray came up to inspect him. He realized Kyou was following close behind and backed away a little, because he know that Kyou is still very mad at him. "Uhm, I.. uh... grew." ...and blew up the lab... he thought glumly as he faked a chuckle.
When Ray came to a realisation, Kyou nodded sadly at Ray. "Yeah, I'm Kyou, now you believe me?" he raised his voice at the end of the sentence. How dare an employee question the identity of his employer? Somehow being in close radius with Lazarus made Kyou's mood a little foul. "This is all thanks to that hot head over there." he explained as he pointed an accusing finger at Lazarus. Then he proceeded to turn around, away from Lazarus. "When he grew he caused a huge explosion and blew up majority of the lab. Burning my skin and my hair in the process."

"I... I'm sorry... it's just ... it's just... I missed seeing you but .. ah... you're like this and that made me ... can't recognize..." Ray said sincerely, he really meant it. He didn't mean to be that hard to Kyou. The cook hadn't met anyone in a while and when he came here. Things were all gone. That was sad enough for him, but to the other point, it was sure more painful for Dr.Kyou, who lost his beautifully silky hair, "I'm sorry to hear what happen to you Kyou-sama... but to think about it... I have no place to work now." His voice was gloomy, though he tried to cheer up. He made his way back to take a box of cakes he dropped on the floor. Opening it up, cakes were in a bad shape, but they were still safe to eat. He walked back toward Kyou.
"I made this for you specially... Sorry I dropped it and it's uhh... a bit mushy... They are original Coffee-Flavored Liquor Chocolate Cheesecakes..." Ray showed his present to Kyou. Hoping his master will calm his anger down.

Yeah that is a problem. The thought made him come into realisation, sadness came over him and hid the anger temporarily. He looked at the ruined laboratory, or what's left of it sadly. Chloe, Tsu and Ray, everyone don't have a work place. What will he do now? He can't possibly make Tsu's apartment into a temporary lab, Tsu won't like too many people going in and out of his place. And the worst thing was, where will he find the money to rebuild the lab?
"Thank you, you're too sweet!" Kyou said as he took the box of cake, smiling sadly with his brows furrowed. "Say, although I couldn't hire you for fulltime right now... since the lab is now like this..." he sighed and looked in the direction of the ruined cafeteria, broken chairs and tables still laying strewn all over the floor. "...maybe you could come over to Tsu's apartment sometimes to make us some food instead? O-Of course I would pay you back!"
This is all that he could offer Ray at the moment.

Ray was very happy to see Kyou loved his present, but when he talked about lab, he looked along with Kyou, the cafeteria... his work place that his spent a lot of time being around there, met people and did food he loves. It was all gone along with lab. He didn't blame Lazarus who made lab to be like this, it was an accident he believed. After this Kyou must has a hard time to work harder to gain money for rebuilding the lab, so Ray Kit decided something,
"I'm so glad you still would like to hire me, Kyou-sama, but well..." He paused a bit, not so sure, but his decision was already made, "I don't take my salary. So you could keep money faster? I will cook for you free and don't worry. Cooking is my life." He smiled widely, "I'll apply to other restaurants too and divide some of salary for the funds of rebuilding lab."

For a moment, Kyou just stood there and stared, eyes widen at Ray. Did he hear wrong? Not only Ray was willing to cook for them without pay, but he's willing to contribute to the lab rebuild funds as well? That is probably the best thing he heard ever since the lab exploded!
"Really? I... I don't know how to th-thank you!!" still somewhat in a state of shock, he stuttered. For the first time after the laboratory blew up, a smile spread across Kyou's lips. A tear had appeared at the corner of his eyes as well. If Kyou wasn't carrying the cake with both his hands, he would've ran up and hugged Ray right then and there. Knowing that there are people that are so kind and helpful really made Kyou glad.
"Really, really thank you!!" he repeated as he wiped at the tear with the back of his hand. "Now would I have the honor of sharing this cake with you? We could go back to Tsu's apartment."
Meanwhile, Lazarus had moved to the other Raevan tank, although he's not quite done with the previous one. He just want to put some distance between him and Kyou, because he knows that Kyou would get angry whenever he's nearby. He stared at the slightly melted glass of the Raevan tank in front of him, sighing as he wondered when will he be able to finish cleaning them.

If it wasn't his imagination, he would swear he just saw a tear of Kyou's. It made him felt uneasy. Not that he didn't like it, but it was just... he never thought before there was a day he could see this expression of him... a soft expression. A man who he respected, a man who he looked up to, is now showing a cute expression - sure it was only his imagination - and saying thank you to him rapidly. It made some part of his heart felt warm. How good he had this man as his employer.
"Uh... it's just a little help I can do..." Ray bended his head a little and scratched his head in embarrassing. When Kyou invited him to eat cake at Dr.Tsu's apartment, he quickly replies, "R-Really?! I can?! B-But is it fine for Doctor Tsu...?" Though he had a permission from Kyou, but Tsu is the owner, right?

Kyou doesn't see why Ray couldn't come up to Tsu's apartment, it's fairly huge after all. "Don't worry, I'm sure Tsu wouldn't mind!! Because he's going to eat some of this cake too!" especially since it had some liquor in it, he's pretty sure Tsu would like that. Giving Ray a reassuring pat on the back, he smiled again. "Let's go!" he said as he started to walk out of the ruined site.
When he saw the metal box he was hauling earlier, he stopped short. There are some pretty important fel essences in that box, and Kyou wanted to move it back to the apartment today. Wouldn't it be better if someone could help him? Like Ray?
"Could I uh... ask you for another favor?" he said as he turned towards Ray again. "Could you help me carry that box up to the apartment as well?" he laughed nervously, that box is actually pretty heavy.
