When someone mentions Las Vegas, usually the first thing that comes to anyone's mind is gambling. That certainly is the case with Positron, who sought to take over the country's largest gambling scene. As long as Positron has Las Vegas under his thumb, he has a steady stream of money coming in at all times. And although he expected it, it came in a much greater amount than even he anticipated: chaos. With the criminals running rampant, and none of the heroes that survived in that area still there, it's become a city of violence and greed that has only gotten worse in time. Many civilians refuse to come out of their homes, their foodstuffs only lasting a short time longer at this point. Unless the heroes get there soon, or unless the villains decide to take a heroic approach to running the city, the casualties will climb alarmingly.
