I fell in love with the Daleks the first time I saw them, just like the Doctor. I love how dorky they look. Poor babies. ;D
Here's something I found a minute ago. Not sure if it's been passed around yet.

Daleks for the win! Mostly because of the Eddie Izzard bit about the plungers they have next to their eyes.

I love how, even though there have been incredible technological advancements, they still look like trash cans with plungers. xd

I like how they get beaten by various 'logic' tricks when the doctor and others are unarmed.
I also like how they took on the cybermen, so macho.
"We have a bazillion soldiers, what about you!" "FOUR!" "WTF?" etc

Yea, I think that the daleks are just a genuinely more interesting race. I mean, Cybermen just going around saying 'delete' or 'you will be upgraded'. And their main purpose is to kind of... assimilate... er... well, make everyone like them.
Daleks, on the other hand, have the famous war cry of 'EXTERMINATE'! With the occasional 'Annihilate! Destroy!' thrown in for good measure. And they also look a lot more interesting, and are bent on universal domination, which is more interesting also...
And they aren't as easy to destroy; their armour develops resistance to whatever you're shooting at them, and just when you think you've destroyed the last of the lil buggers a few more show up somewhere else.
... And they must have to be the only race who have managed to cause so much havoc without even being able to climb stairs. Which, as we all know, they have finally managed to do. I'm not sure if the whole... levitating thing really suits them, but... I spose they have to do it somehow.

CrocodileKimura *imagines a Dalek plumber fixing her toilet* biggrin Thank youuu! Actually, seeing that reminds me of when I watched the first ever Dalek episodes (William Hartnell). I'd seen Daleks before, obviously, bearing in mind my first experience of Doctor Who was Remembrance Of The Daleks, but anyway... The first time you see one in that episode is as a cliffhanger. Barbara is squashed against a wall screaming as a plunger comes into shot. I started laughing "She's scared of a plunger!". Next episode you see the Dalek itself. "It's a pepperpot. But it's got a plunger!" Then you see the Dalek kill someone. "It's a pepperpot that can kill you. But it's got a plunger!!". I ended up turning round to Dad and saying "Have the Daleks got sinks?" He went "Don't know, why?" "Well, they wouldn't need a plumber, would they?!" I was a very strange child. On a completely different note, the Daleks have been voted the scariest monsters the Doctor's faced since the series came back!! The Empty Child Zombies were in second place, followed by The Beast.
