My friend recently went to London and she said they had vending machines in the airport that sold books. I thought that was awesome! I would post a picture but I don't think she took any. She said they were called 'A Novel Idea' too.

Well, that certainly is a Novel Idea, I would LOVE one of those somewhere around that town I live in. I can just imagine waiting for the book to fall through the little slot like waiting for a chocolate bar, ah, books and chocolate *yaaaaay* ^_^

How easy would it be to free all of the books?

:O Wow... I think I'd be too afraid of hurting the books though. Don't drop them!
Just image getting two by accident... Like a candy vending machine. xd (Although my logic tell me that is highly unlikely.)

Tartan_skirt Just image getting two by accident... Like a candy vending machine. xd (Although my logic tell me that is highly unlikely.) That thought makes me so happy. I just imagine myself standing before such a machine, watching the book drop down to the bottom, and then, as I reach over to get it, I see another falling from its shelf. xd
Although, you do make a good point about them being damaged in the process. I hate it when my new books have their spines smashed.

When I heard about it I was wondering about book damage too.

One also needs to consider when a book wouldn't drop as it is supposed to, like the candy bars sometimes do.
Still it sounds like a fabulously novel idea! wink Yeah, why doesn't the U.S. have these yet?

Tsuki no Mugen One also needs to consider when a book wouldn't drop as it is supposed to, like the candy bars sometimes do. I think that would call for an image of a bibliophile with her arm caught inside the machine. wink
