This is similar to the One-Word story game, except you can each write one sentence - one paragraph each. smile It's sort of like regular roleplaying, except you do not roleplay your own character, etc. etc. and there is really no plot. YOU make the plot! I am hoping this will be fun...

Anyway, make sure you follow all of Gaia's ToS, and Guild Rules. Please be literate, but don't make your paragraphs too long (like a run-on paragraph). Use proper grammar, spelling, etc. etc. etc.!

Let's BEGIN!!

Once upon a time, there lived a magical little fairy within a magical little forest. Her name was Kaela, and she was very mischievous. There were many other fairies in this forest, too. But there were also some humans...and birds...and bugs...and all kinds of creatures! Almost anything anyone could imagine!

Kaela frolicked through the magical little forest, her blond, curly hair flying about wildly in the gentle breeze. She liked to run, and she definitely liked to play! She was only 9 years old, so it made sense that she would like to play.

Kaela stopped in her tracks and spun around as she heard someone --or something -- issue a deep, low growl. She fluttered her sparkly blue wings and flew in desperate pursuit to get away from whatever it was that was making the growling! She never looked back; she never knew what that was." Kaela sat up in one of the tree branches and huffed and puffed, hugging her knees close to her chest.

All of the sudden, Kaela noticed a beautiful little pot boiling beneath her. The steam made her wings damp and heavy, causing her to fall. Closer and closer she came to the more-than-hot liquid, enabling her to feel the heat across her face. Her wings were too damp to fly and she was sweating profusely. Her death almost became iminent when, out of nowhere, a flayswatter hit her out of the way.

Kaela screamed as she was plopped into a clear, glass jar. A human had captured her!! The human was a little girl, the age of 12, and the human's eyes widened as she peered into the jar. She spooned up some chicken noodle soup from the pot and sipped it as she watched Kaela scream and kick. This little girl's name was Taylor, and she had always believed in fairies. The children at school would always make fun of Taylor, but she didn't care. Taylor whispered to the jar, "I have finally actually found a real, live fairy!!"

Upon Kaela hearing the twelve-year-olds' voice, she flutterred around frantically in the jar. Unfortunately, Taylor forgot to seal the cap on the jar, allowing Kaela to slowly float out of it. With her wings now partially dry, she grabbed some sparkling dust from a pouch on her waist and tossed it at Taylor. "Fairy dust! Fairy dust!" Taylor would say, slowly dozing into a deep sleep. The dust was not fairy dust. It was, in fact, an escape powder used by fairies which put the target to sleep.

Taylor soon fell fast asleep and Kaela stuck out her tongue at her ex-captor. Then, Kaela closed her little pouch and then flapped her wings hastily, trying to get it completely dry. A few minutes passed, and soon Kaela was ready to fly back to where she had been before. The little fairy girl flitted to a tree branch and sat down on it, exhausted from the vigorous flapping of her wings when she tried to get it dry.

By now, the sun had nearly fallen beyond view for Kaela, and she knew that some of the most abhorrent creatures would soon emerge from the darkest corners of the surrounding areas. The sounds of cheerful birds slowly died and the crickets chirping replaced them. The moon was clearly visible on the opposite side of the sun, as it rose cautiously, unaware of the suns' malicious intentions to burn it out. Kaela waited only needed to wait a little longer before her wings were rested enough to make it to wherever could possibly be safe for the night.

Kaela peered around, hoping she was not lost. She smiled and lightened up as she spotted a common land mark -- the huge, old sycamore tree that had that peculiar, eerie tint to it. Almost every fairy used that tree as a landmark to find their way home! Kaela flitted up to the tree, and found the side with the most glow. Then she headed due north.

It had been five, maybe six minutes before she spotted her home below. Before diving into the small opening in which every fairy entered and exited, she hovered to check the surroundings. She knew that the safehouse was succeptable to attack by larger creatures that had been looking for them for some time. After scanning the area around her thoroughly, she floated down into her home, safe from the dangers outside.

Kaela let out a sigh of relief as she flitted through the hallways of her woodland home. Literally, it was a woodland home. Nevermind being made out of wood -- it was in the wood; in the tree. The young fairy waved a slender hand to her mother. Her mother waved back absentmindedly as she fluttered toward what was the kitchen. Kaela progressed even deeper into the house.

Kaela got to her "bedroom" and flew onto her bed, making a sloppy crash-landing. The little fairy's sparkly wings seemed to shine brighter for just a moment, then returned to its normal luster. Kaela sat up in her bed, and flapped her wings twice before letting her wings droop slightly and casually. Her skirt was a tad bit muddy, so Kaela changed into a new outfit: a yellow and orange sundress, golden slippers, and a golden headband. Along with small gold hoop earrings and a gold, beaded bracelet with a matching necklace.

She then fluttered back out to the wooded corridors and decided upon looking for her mother. "Mom!" she called out. "Mom?" Her mother glided out of the kitchen and sighed, "What is it, dear?" Kaela replied, "Um...I am going to sound like a brat when I say this, but, I am so bored and don't know what to do!" Her mother sighed again and then said, "Do something! Explore the forest - safely. Or you could help me with cooking! Or perhaps go play with some friends or animals or just daydream the minutes away!" Kaela pouted and then nodded. She murmured, "All of those ideas sound pretty good...except for the cooking part..." Kaela hated cooking, mainly because she was terrible at it and all her food usually ended up making other fairies sick!

Kaela muttered to herself, "The idea of cooking is out...hmm...daydreaming sounds interesting, but I'm not in the mood...don't wanna explore...I suppose I should just go hang out with friends." Kaela raised her voice, so her mom could hear, "I'm gonna go meet my friend Sarah!" Her mom nodded approvingly and Kaela flew out of her home, searching.

Kaela soon caught a glimpse of Sarah, and shouted out excitedly, "Hi Sarah! Sarah!" It seemed as if Sarah hadn't heard Kaela, since Sarah kept flying in and out of the leaves, weaving through the maze that was called their forest.

Kaela chased after Sarah, and soon muttered to herself, "What's going on with Sarah today?!"
