Many people wonder...What does it mean to be a christian?
I have a few answers to that:
1.The bible says, that if we accept Jesus into our heart we shall have everlasting life.
2.I was explaining to my cousin what it meant,he's about 5,so i just said it simple,it's sorf of like one of those chance cards in monoploy,the one that says "Get out of jail free card" but it says "Get out of hell free for life"
3.It is your job to tell non-belivers about Jesus Christ.And why he came to earth.

I agree. It is our purpose, aside from priasing God, which is our number one purpose. But, then again, they kind of work together. It's an amazing oppurtunity to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ. I've a heart of compassion, so my heart plays the guilt card on me. I feel guilty if i don't tell people about Jesus, cuz then i feel like it's partially my fault if they die and go to hell. There's always something you can do. Every day, as a child of God, there WILL BE someone in your path that you can minister the love of Jesus to. No matter where you are, all you have to do is keep your eyes open to who needs Jesus in their life. My youth pastor and his wife ministered to some girls outside the mall waiting for a ride. There's people everywhere who need help. It's our job to help them, and direct them toward the only one who can save them. ^^Jesus^^

Very true. As I've probably said on here more than once, if our entire purpose was to go to heaven and live happily ever after, we would all die as soon as we came to know Christ.

(I didn't really read all of those posts) I think that to be a Christian means to follow the ten commandments (Of course). You also should preach to many people so they have atleast heard of Christ or they may become a Christian just becasue of what you have said. You also have toi act like a christian would act. Or think WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) Because if you swear and do stupid stuff infront of people and you are a Christian, then you aren't setting a very good example for Christians. You also should Pray regularly, Read the Bible or books/ storys about God and Praise Him!

i belive christians are ppl who belive in the WHOLE bible and has given there lives to God.
there job is to be witnesses to others who havent heard
not nessesarily telling a person GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD NOW!!, more like inviting them to my youth group and let them become comfortable with me or somethin like that
or just give em some advice like, 'maybe YOU should go to ur mom and ask for forgiveness, to error is human, to forgive, devine
u kno stuff like that
i dont think u MUST read the bible and pray everyday
but being a christian is having a relationship w/ God (its not a relgion its a relationship u kno) and if u dont get into the word of talk to him much thats a pretty lousy relationship and u wont be able to spread his love to others eisily.
