Kiefer watched the leaves of the trees sway softly. Well, there wern't many leaves, but they were certainly there. The trees held bright green ones, barely grown out, spring was here.
He breathed in the damn air. It had been raining, but now the sun shone through. The ground of the small sparce forest he had wandered into was brown with dirt and old leaves and pine needles, and wet. He didn't mind these days, they were very relazing.
Still, he felt like he needed to do something. As much fun as it was to just enjoy one's surroundings, sometimes you just need to have fun. Kiefer felt like he hadn't had any legitimate fun since he was a colt, and he wanted it now.

Autumn swayed through the tree's leaves fell and rested along her back untill shaken off. One season closer to Fall or as she called it, Autumn. Almost matching some of the scenery, crunching leaves below her feet. The mare smiled.
It had been a while since she last went for a run or hopped around on the beach like she used to when she was a filly. Every now and then she would find a friend to enjoy company with. But, it would never be like being little and having a reason to be stupid.
Her shimmering crystal eye looked around while the brown one followed. One thing she would never let go of, it was one of her mother's traits. Two different colored eyes. Out of the tree's emerged the mare and into the open. She took a deep breathe as her eye's caught sight of a figure.

Kiefer heard someone moving through the woods. For a moment he ignorned the sound, enjoying the mystery of it. Then he turned around.
Ah, it was so hard to see. He squinted. It was definetly another soquili, a mare. She had mostly natural colors though, and most of her body, save her mane and tail, blended in well with the dark brown background of the woods. Kiefer, however, was vivid against the bright golden color of his coat.
"Hello" he said, not really loud, but loud enough for her to hear him. Certainly it would be a bit weird for him to just stare with out saying anything.

The figure became more apparent to her gaze. A stallion, of a brighter gold. She tossed her head and trotted gracefully 'till she was entirely out of the woods and near the stallion.
The odd gaze before he spoke made the mare a bit nervous but, she shook it off when he greeted her. "Hello" She replied nodding her head thoughtfully.Autumn couldn't help but look away back into the forrest oddly at a sound But, soon relized something was tangled in her mane. A leaf? Autumn gently pulled it out.
She smiled and examined him, he had seen a few stallions off looks but, his markings were unique and it made the vigorious mare curious. He has a milti colored mane and tail like her too! "I'm Autumn, and you?" She stated proudly at her own name.

His bright green eyes watched as the mare trotted up to him, clearly with little hesiation, and plenty of confidence. He felt a bit bad for staring, but that was one of his favorite things to do when he met new soquili, the all looked so different and interesting.
"I'm Kiefer, nice to meet you Autumn" he said, shaking his mane out of his eyes a bit. It wasn't long enough to hang all the way down, nice neetly, but long enough to get right in his eyes, and him having no control of it. Ah well, what could you do.
"Do you live near these parts?" he asked, looking around. Such a pretty forest. He had wandered quite a ways from his home to get here. Of course, he really didn't have a definete home anymore, just wherever he felt like it. It was nice to have nothing holding him down anymore. He liked the feeling.

She couldn't help but, pick up on every single soquili's unique traits. It was facinating, (and this is to a mare who find EVERYTHING facinting) She tossed her mane out of her way before swaying back and forth in place.
"Nice to meet'cha to Kiefer" She replied smiling brightly. Autumn looked around the area curiously and without a doubt had NO clue where she was. "Depends...." The mare began slowly before she trailed off to look at a bush for a moment.
"Depends where I am." She replied slightly blushing of embarressment. Although on her dark fur it went unnoticed. "I live anywhere I go" The mare replied as a cover up. "I dont actually have a 'home' That i returne to each night." She stated agian before becoming quiet.

"Really?" said Kiefer with a smile. "Me too! Well, I mean. I do go to where my parents live most of the time, but often if I wander far away, like I have now..." he paused to look up at the beautiful trees. "I just stay where ever."
This mare seemed to have a smiliar mindset to him. At least, in some sense. He always had related the most with his father. At lesat, most of the time. Sometimes he felt like they were polar opposites, other times he felt like he was a clone of him.
"I like it because there are no boundries, you know? Never worrying about wandering too for to get home before night" he said with a nod.

"Yes, but I do have to say. My dad is who I guess I miss the most. I see my mom often but, kinda of a daddy's girl." She replied with a toss of her mane and a shrug to ignore what she had just blurted out.
Somehow she knew he was also close to his father. Not many are, it's good to meet another who loves the father, as much as the mother.
"No boundries!" She repeated as she slid to the side. "No one to tell you what you have to do and dont have to do." She threw her head up playfully "No Bedtime!" She stated happily and smiled at the stallion.

"Well, you should visit him then!" Kiefer said with a laugh "I would die if I couldn't see my family. Although I admit I would miss my sisters the most if I couldn't see anyone. Guess I still feel like I should be protecting the, even though they are capable mares my now" he said, deciding that if the other mare was open enough to talk about her personal life, he would too. It wasn't a big deal.
He couldn't help but laugh again. This mare was certainly hyper, she reminded him a bit of his grandmother. That reminded him, he should probubly visit her. She would like that.
"Yea, definetly. I cannot stand having people tell me what to do. I guess that is why I had so much trouble as a colt. Of course, as a stallion I haven't gotten much better" he joked.

The mare snorted and shrugged. "I dont want to visit family right now." she mummbled loudly. She was free why return? Only to be held down for all your worth. The mare sighed and then looked up. Vigiorious yes, but not always happy.
"I enjoy being around my family a lot of the times but, i've never met my sister that everyone keeps secret. Not her name, I know nothing. Only of my brother Caullyen." She smiled at his name. Caully was her pride, she was very proud of her brother in finding a mate.
"Being told what to do is why I refuse to be found." she spotted mare spoke agian. "I always disobeyed when I was little. Couldn't stand to listen, I haven't gotten much better eaither." She joked too.

Kiefer sensed he had hit a bit of a touchy subject, so he tried to stray away a bit. "Ah well, that is up to you, I supose." he said with a nod. He didn't want to push her or be unnessiarily critical when he barely had said a few words to this mare.
"That is too bad" he said, not sure how to respond to this. He hadn't met most of his extended family, but he knew his direct family well... there were very few secrets for him, as far as he knew, nothing was a secret at all.
"Ah, well, I can relate to that. My father used to yell at me all the time. I wasn't to bad. I mean, I asked before I did stuff. Most of the time at lesat. The problum was, if my parents said no, I did it anyway because, well. Why not?" he said with a chuckle. Now he probubly behaved even worst because he didn't have anyone keeping him down or reminding him that something might not be a good idea.

Autumn didn't really care much about the subject. Something she didn't really want to forever talk about but, not something she didn't want to talk about. A lot speak of there families and she was glad she even had family.
"Doesn't bother me much, you can't miss what you dont know" Is what I always used to remind myself about." she replied with a smile.
"me Too!" She laughed a bit. "There is really no reason you can't do it. So why not." she stated happily and began to shuffle her feet to get comfterble.

"Ah, still. Who knows, maybe one day you will meet him, you never know" said Kiefer, trying to stay positive. He wasn't amazing at that, but usually he tried.
He smiled "Seems like we think alike!" he said, flipping his mane around a bit. Niether of his sisters were as much trouble as he had been. They certainly wern't perfect all the time, but he had just refused to listen.
"Anyway, isn't it so nice out?" he said, once again looking at the blue sky that had now just broken from the rain. "I really like the rain. Warm rain, though, because cold rain isn't as fun" he said. It was true, something about the rain just amused him, made him feel happier.

Autumn nodded her head in agreement before she looked off into the rustling tree's.
"Seems so!" She replied smiling and then thinking about her family drifted off into thought.
"It's very beautiful out" She replied with a small smiles as she watched the spring, "rain makes the land greener" She replied with a nod and then a distance look over the plains.

"Yup!" he said, looking down at the little, bright green baby plants poking up from the earth. He wondered of any of them would end up growing into the large trees that created forests.
He flipped his mane out of his eyes. "So, how did you end up here? Just exploring?" he asked, curious. He had been exploring himself, and partly just to get away from home. He loved his family dearly, but everyone needed a break once in a while.
