((It's technically from the Forgotten Realms which is where Salvatore's books take place. And yah, if you have a character and a reason fro said character to be there I don't have a problem with it, but it's going to be slow going since Crystal won't post until she can respond to Richard.))

((Eh, it's just another place outside the muffin.)) Richard let go of the strap to his pack, the free hand messing his hair up somewhat as he thought this over. "Maybe...but if it is...then I can't see it anywhere..." He mused silently for a few seconds, then, as if belatedly remembering he wasn't alone, spoke aloud again. "I wonder if-no. Better not wait for someone to see us here." He returned to reality, smiling back at her. "We are not exactly guests, and the drow can be... a tad territorial Crystal. We should just take a different route." He nodded once, confirming for himself as he took a small map from a side pocket in the pack. He had not brought his jacket, it was much too warm here for it. Looking at the map with the flashlight held high, he traced a path with his eyes, considering the advice given to him from the surface drow he had met. "Well...seems here we'll be fine. Just a bit odd to run into a dead end. Then again, the fellows did mention that the Under dark changes often, so no matter." He lowered the map to show her if she wanted, so that she would not feel like he was just leading her around. "You see mi'lady? This tunnel here? We will take that route I think. It meets up with the one blocked further down...so we will be okay." He smiled. Quote: "So it's one of those walls that moves if you know the right word perhaps?" Lady Crystal asked, smiling at Richard. "Perhaps we could wait here to see if anyone comes out? Or we could move on."

"Well come on then," Lady Crystal said, taking Richard's hand and pulling him down the selected path. She slowed down once they were a little aways from where they were and once again fell into place next to Richard, though she didn't let go of his hand. "So if the Drow live underground how do they know when to go to sleep? I guess they could just go until they need to sleep, but don't you think they would like to know wether it's night or day outside?"

Richard didn't pull his hand away now that they were walking normally, though he knew he probably should. He found himself thinking about how much smaller her hand was than his, and shifted his shoulders so his pack was more comfortable on his opposite shoulder, glad the dark kept her from seeing how red his face probably was. That, was probably the bane of his existance. He listened to her question, mind turning to his research. "The Drow do not really sleep. They can I suppose...but mostly they meditate. They call it Reverie(sp) I believe. And you must remember, they don't typically venture above ground. Most have only read about the sun and moon. Not to mention, the drow have very sensitive eyes." He paused for a minute, remembering. "They don't know any different Crystal. Life...is all about perceptions." He was thinking about his home, curious about hers, and then the muffin itself.

"I suppose you're right," Lady Crystal said, thinking along similair lines. "Admittedly it is hard for me to imagine living down here. Though I suppose it is just as hard for them to imagine living anywhere else. I have heard of monks who are able to forgoe sleep in favor of meditation."

Draze began to walk under the busy streets in the sewers. It was cold and damp, but he remained there for two reasons. The sunlight would harm his eyes and sensitive sking, and be was a drow. They weren't liked amongst other races. He treded withen the waters listening for anything that might sound like trouble.

Richard smiled, still watching ahead where his flashlight hit, but still listening. "I see you understand then. I'm...kind of impressed." He replied, giving her hand the lightest of squeezes, as if to punctuate the statement. "Crystal...I wanted to ask you..." He paused, not sure if continuing would be prudent or not. Perhaps not. "Er...how are things lately?" He finished, changing tacks smooth.

It wasn't long before Draze reached more of something that seemed cacacombish. He paused seeing a strange light flash. Then quickly ducked around the cornor. He looked around to see concret jut out, and hide behind it. His dark cloak covering him. He would listen to what was going on.

Lady Crystal smiled herself, her cheeks flushing at the compliment. Though he couldn't see it in the dark, her eyes sparkled with hope briefly before he changed his question. "I am well," Crystal said, hiding her disappointment like a true diplomat. "I have been with you after all."
