 Nix'Annada spread her wing wide, yawned and stretched her forelegs. A nice nap, though it was nearing the afternoon, even sooner the sun would begin to set. SHe would have to try adn make some distance today, her wings were well rested as well as her legs. She figured walking first, tiring out her legs first, then fly later, would be the best approach for today.
She hummed a tune to herself as she padded along, her white fur geting in front of her blue orbs. Oh how she loved hte day, would be even better if she could find her sister already. Why couldn't she just stay in one place? WOuld be so much easier for her, really it would be.
"Who shall come this way today..." she sang somewhat form her maw. Yes, she was a happy goddess this day, no need for exerting stress through bolts of lightning this afternoon.

"A warrior." Came a sudden reply to her question and from beside her stalked a massive hulk of a lion. He had a proud stance to him and a great, heavy mane that trailed down between his shoulders and over his forehead. His muzzle was wide, his body showing signs of healing scars and he moved with the aura of power.
"Strange." He continued, "I've heard stories that there were more Gods and Goddesses in this world but up until now I have only met one." He huffed and for a moment looked as if he were sizing her up.
"Tell me, immortal, are you worthy of your title?" Mrost's feather flapped behind one ear in the breeze as he drew himself up. He did not fear these Gods and never would, not whilst he walked in the Shadow of War.

Nix stopped, and peeked over her shoulder. A smile came upon her maw when she saw the other male, my oh my, was his mane beautiful. SHe had a hting for manes, oh yes she did. Mhmmm, she wished to run her paws over it really, but she hesitated. "A warrior? Well then, I must be in the presence of a strong one a that..." she said with a flick of ehr tail.
She turned around to face him more, she didn't keep her horns pr wings secret, she exposed them to the world, let th world see, she had no reason to hide them today, or at all for the most part. "Of course there are more of us, family and friends, my sister is out there somewhere too, one other? Who might have that been?" she was curious.
Had he met her sister at all?
"Worthy?" she smirked, she created a surge in her forelegs and sparks of lightning encirled them, they amde a shiver of pleasure go down her spine, "I believe so..." she let them fade and she grinned at him.
His would be itneresting.
"Tell me warrior, what is your name?"

He smiled at her and paused, thinking how different she looked from Mrost. He suddenly found himself curious as to what element she reigned and found himself drawn to her vibrant markings.
"Indeed." He replied, pausing a little way from her. "Well it seems I have not been unfortunate enough to meet any of them...until now that is." He smiled. "I am Hakan'mawasii. I'd rather not give the name of the one I speak of so freely." He bowed his head and took another step forwards, ebony claws sinking into the ground beneath him, which had been softened by the recent rains.
The crackle of lightning reflected white in his brilliant blue eyes but again he did not shy away. He had faith that Gods liked to show off but that was all.
"So who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

"Hakan, well then, what an interesting name of a warrior who I must be so fortunate to meet this fine day..." she frowned somewhat when he would not say the name of the other he knew. Darn, what if it was her sister though? Guess she would never know, she didn't wish to harm him just because he would not give a name, ah well, perhaps another day.
She smiled, pulled her wings upon her back and gave him a slight bow of her head, "Nix'Annada, goddess of lightning...or cold fire, depending on your beliefs," she said with a nod. She had heard others saying lightning was cold fire, though it wasn't cold at all, she would know Her name was even derived from fire and cold fire, mhmm, she loved her name.
"Seems you are a brave warrior to come so close, do be warned though, sometimes its hard to control if it surges," a simple touch upon her pelt by another, could be a horrible experience for the one on the recveing end of her lightning. "What would a warrior as yourself be doing way out here?"

Hakan smiled. "What a coincidence." He replied, eyeing her with curiosity. "My name means Fire Guardian." He puffed out his chest and considered it's meaning for a moment. He understood why his mother had named him that and felt honoured for it.
"Brave, perhaps, or stupid." He shrugged. "But what is life without a little risk?" He smiled. "Why am I here?" He paused and took another step closer to Nix. He seemed drawn to the power of the deities, like a moth to a flame. He could not give up the chance to wallow in power and to learn of it's source.
"I was born with the wanderlust. I go where I please. I am here merely to travel and perhaps find a friend...or an enemy. Anything to make the day interesting I suppose."

"Fire Guardian, well, thats interesting, mhmmm, I think more brave then stupid any day, wouldn't you agree?" she made a circle around him, for no reason at all really, she was just happy today, happy and hyper, probably because of all the energy she was storing inside her body and in her wings.
She'd have to release that at some point, she'd have to remember.
"Since your a fire guardian, think you could ever protect me...that is if I ever needed it, though I can handle myself," she said with a smile and a flick of her tail. Hmm, this was different. "A friend in me I hope, and not an enemy, I don't like having enemies, unless there's a reason for it," she said nodding.

He let his eyes follow her as she began to circle, finding himself a little uncomfortable at his vulnerable position. In a fight against God and mortal it didn't matter how strong he was. He would lose. Yet he didn't feel jealousy, he felt wonder, wonder that there were Gods out there who would aid others such as himself.
"Protect you?" He asked, and took the moment to think on it. Would Mrost mind him conversing with another Goddess? Perhaps he could bring her to his side? Either way he didn't see that it could be bad if he befriended this one. She seemed okay and was definately not one of those useless immortals he had heard about. She seemed powerful.
"Of course. Why meddle with destiny?" He smiled and turned with her. "Oh, a friend, most definately. You have given me no reason to think otherwise." He pondered a moment. "So, you are the Goddess of lightning? Or something else?" He remembered that crackle of power that had emanated from her before and shivered.

"A friend then" she said with a smile, yay, she had already made a friend so quickly again! How nice, perhaps one day this Hakan would help her find her sister one day, yes, then she would truly be so greatful to him. "Lightning and all its wonders, however, I cannot create a lightning storm, that is of another's realm, though I can create it, and control it to my liking," she said with a nod.
Nix sat back for a moment, smiled and pawed at the ground for no apparent reason, "Though sometimes when I store the energy of it, store it in here," she said putting a heart to her chest," and here" she said unfolding her wings, "I have to release it all at once, which can create quiet a spectacle, least, I find it appealing."
She still wondered of this other one he spoke of before, perhaps it was her sister, or someone that new her sister? How grand would it be to have her new friend guide her to her sister who Nix longed to see. "This other, you spoke of before, you said you did not wish to give names...be specific and that like...but may I ask if they are a god or goddess? I'm searching for my sister you see, and I have yet to find her warrior Hakan."

"Lightning." He replied. "Then you hold a great power. It's good to hear this. I've been meeting with none but weaklings recently." He casually tossed the mane from his eyes and smiled. "I was beginning to think I'd never come across someone likeable again."
He tried to imagine the sight that she talked about but found it impossible. The storms he had seen had been beautiful and somewhat frightening, yet they had seemed so far away. Now here he was standing right next to it.
"Sorry. The one I speak of is a God. Though maybe I can help you find her? What does she look like?" He hadn't met any other Goddesses but he was curious as to who her sister could be.
He was keen to learn about all creatures, so long as they were powerful.

"Sometimes those that appear weak hold power, my sister used to be like that, she was afraid of herself and her power...last I saw her, she was much better at controlling it, I hope she succeeded in overcoming it all at once. Her power is greater then mine when she has it under control, even moreso when she can't control it...it is overpowering," Nix said with a nod and a flick of her tail. "Us together in one place is...interesting to say the least, we are a good team."
A god? That was depressing, if only he knew her instead of a god.
But...what if the god he knew, knew her?
"She has a black pelt with crimson markings, a red peiece of cloth around one of her legs, and blood on ehr wing tips..least, the last time I saw her, I don't know if she's been reincarnated since then, though I doubt it. Do you think your god friend might know her perhaps?"

He listened with interest, already liking the sound of this Goddess. She sounded powerful, mysterious and wild. He smirked at the thought of the blood-marked deity and couldn't help but imagine how beautiful she must look.
He'd always been fond of dark colours, it was why he had been drawn to Nix just a moment ago. "She sounds as beautiful as her sister." He replied. It was not often that he got a chance to show off his charming side as he didn't often bump into ladies he liked.
"The God I speak of may know her, but I'm afraid he's never mentioned her to me personally. All I know of his is mate and she is certainly not black and red." He shook his head. "My apologies Nix'Annada. All I can say is that as I travel I will keep my eyes open and I will mention her to my God if you wish...though possibly that might not be a good idea." He was unsure what Mrost might do if he learned of another strong Goddess and suddenly he feared for her safety if Mrost learned of her existance.

Nix smirked at Hakan, flicked her tail, "Trying to picture her are you? Unfortunately, she looks nothing of the like as me, we are sisters, but not by blood, we're all that each other has really, her family was stolen from her as a cub, mine I doubt I will ever see again, strange series of events led us to one another years and years ago..." she said with a nod, "Though I think she's stunning, if only she would realize that herself," she sighed, "she never tries to seek out others really."
The god he new had a mate? Interesting, but not her sister? A shame really, would be so remarkable if her sister even thought of having a mate, Nix tried pushing her towards having a family many times in the past, but Nix never knew if her sister would take her advice or not.
Family, could sometimes set you free.
"Why wouldn't it be?" she asked, tilting her head, somewhat confused. "Would it be better if I asked him myself? A simple question should not do any harm, perhaps I could exchange him something for a visit? A payment for a question perhaps?"

He listened to the story of her sister and wondered why she was so distant from others. "I'm a cold-hearted warrior but I still have love for family and friends." He replied, proud of that fact. "Your sister should have love too. It's what keeps us sane. Or that's what I believe anyway."
He knew that if he had not had the love of his mother and siblings of his daughter then he would have been nothing but a cold-hearted killer.
"The God I speak of has..." He frowned. He didn't want to say anymore. "Look, just trust me on this. It's best that your sister and you stay away from him." Hakan did not know how Mrost treated others of his kind.

Nix tilted her head at him, smiled, shook ehr head at his statement, "She used to have love, but what would she have love for now? She has no family left, she will never see them again, afraid to get too close to others for fear of losing them too...she believes those she cares for, and stays around, will get hurt because of her." Strange really, but it was true, her poor sister.
She frowned though, why, did the other god not like other immortals? But Hakan had even said he had a mate, strange. "My sister would probably stay away from him, though I don't know who he is, that is unless somehow they became friends, and he tried to help her, and she believed he was strong and could never get hurt because of her," she said nodding.
Though she still wished to seek this other god out.
Perhaps she could, and not let this Hakan know of it.
