SG-1 is the spinoff series of the 1994 big screen movie with Kurt Russell and James Spader. For ten years the series has aired, first on Showtime and now on SciFi channel. With over 200 episodes over 10 years, it is the longest running scifi show on American Television.
Here you can discuss new episodes, old ones, or just anything Stargate.

I aboustly love Stargate but have not been able to watch now for awhile because I do not get the Scifi channel. It saddens me that it is ending and I don't even get to see the last shows.

ah stargate, one of my favorite shows XP. I must say when I first started watching it I disliked it, It seemed boring, repetative and had a storyline that at times seemed hard to follow. however after watching it for about 2 weeks back in englan *6 years ago* It started to grow on me, I got to the point that I couldnt live without watching the SG-1 Team get into *and out of* another impossible situation XP.
now Im curios however what peoples favorite eps are. mine are any episodes that deal with the replicators XP. I just like that whole entire part of the series XP.

It is hard to follow, especiallyif you come in the middle of an episode or season. Seasons 1-8 share the Goa'uld storyline while 9 and 10 have the Ori story arc. Both are good. My favorite episodes are too many to count: Window of Oppurtunity, Lost City 1&2, Mobuis 1&2, Threads, Grace, Redemption 1&2, etc.

Poor Sam. I knew she wasnt' going to die but still. Interesting episode I think that Tomin will now try to make his men think they way he does, that is if they don't kill him.

The earlier episodes could be watched out of sequence without being confused, but the newer Ori arc you really can't. I really love the old ones, because of the half-seriousness and the great characters. The addition of Vala was interesting, but I havn't been very inclined to watch the new ones.
My favorite team member is Tiel'c. smile

I like the half-seriousness as well. So funny. I just saw 'The Shroud'. Very good episode. Danny as a prior was hard to imagine, but it was all a trick to play Adria. It shows that she may be physically an adult, but she is still a naive child. It was great to see O'Neill again. He was funny as usual. I just don't see why they didn't beam up Adria as well.
I missed the ep last week due to being in Illinios.

Sam is definetly the best. I love the fact that they made her a blonde. It proves that us blondes are not all dumb.
I missed the Tea'c centric episode because I had a migraine and miss programmed the tv.
"Family Ties" was a good funny episode. Although I didn't think that Dr. Lam's mom looked like her mom. She seemed too oriental. I did love how they double crossed the double cross.
