Kidz Bop, Girl Authority (Or whatever the hell that is..), and The Naked Brother Band... they shouldn't be allowed to sing. Naked Brothers Band just gives me problems because they can't freakin' sing.
Kidz Bop and Girl Authority, now can't people just listen to the REAL song? I mean, who wants to hear some suckish singing from a little kid, when they can get on the internet and listen to the real song. Or even just pull out their real CD. : P
Anyways, most songs on there aren't appropriate. They say that the songs are, but they aren't. FGI has cursing (Although it isn't bad, but they still lied, right?), that one Christina Agulaira (Or however you spell her name) I think that's her song that is dirty... Don't flame me if it's the wrong person, but... The song is still dirty. : P

I don't even understand why they even exist, people should just get the censored versions of songs instead of buying their kids this crap.

I've never intentionally listened to anything KidzBop related.
Something about the voices of children mutilating a song that I like...
"Dirty Harry" is clearly an exception.

My grandma gave this CD to me as a gift cuz she thought I might like KB's version of the Gorillaz. Jamie and Damon are the ones who okayed this. I know this because under "Feel Good Inc.", the sleeve says "Hewlett, Albarn".

What's in your head ~
I'm pretty sure it was done without permission - Damon and Jamie would never approve of it. The thing is, I don't think you need to obtain the rights to a song to make a cover of it. So...
Also, about it saying 'Hewlett, Albarn' under the song - that doesn't mean they approved of the recording. That's giving credit to the original songwriters, and they don't have to give permission to use the song to have their names appear with it.

~ Zombie, zombie, zombie. :B Actually, I found out that when Kids Bop has the names on the sleeve, it doesnt mmean that the person gave permission, but remade the song for Kids Bop. Damon, Jamie, even De La Soul, remade the song so that it was safe for the children to listen to.

They take out the cussing and stuff so kids can hear it. I hate the song, but think about it. It's getting more little kids to like the band, right? Which will increse sales, right? Which will make the band more popular and maybe continue their tour from where the left off! ^-^ Just as long as I NEVER HEAR THE STUPID DEFORMED SONG THEY PUT ON THERE, I'm okay with the idea.
But honestly, if it was my choice, I wouldn't have said okay.
