This is volcano named after one of the many greek gods, Vulcan.
I beleive he was Zeus's blacksmith... he made his lightining bolts.
Anyway back to the RP part. This volcano is inactive so humans can walk through it without getting hurt. Some times people think they hear rumbling but nobody can be sure.

The green and brown hatchling that was Olberon sat on a rock on the inactive volcano. He was more like sleeping, but one wouldn't have been about to tell. Near him was 8 year old Aleya and her nurse maid Eliza. Eliza had hoped to bring Aleya out for a change of pace. The dark girl did not want anything of it.
Olberon shook his head as Eliza tried to coax her to take off her coat. The poor woman. He may have only been a hatchling, but he understood what she was doing.
"It'll never work. She just is too broken, Eliza." He said to himself, though to the humans it sounded like a soft roar. Aleya looked at him but said, as always, nothing.

Ruko wandered away from his muddy and forested home. he didn't mind wandering about- so long as the earth was beneath his feet, he was happy.
he came to Vulcan's peak, and immediately liked the place. it was big, it was rock, it had a deep, earthy rumbling that came up occasionally, and it wasn't dangerous.

Ruko sat down at the edge of the crater of the volcano, looking up at the sky above. This place was great! volcanic history, AND birds in the sky.
Just because he wasn't sure about flying didn't mean he didn't like birds.

(( xp your confusing me. lets just roleplay. wheterh hes at the edge of the crater or on the 'dead' surface of the crater is up to you. is it inactive, looking extinct, or is there a bad smell or something in the crater... like sulphur.))

((Ya it looks inactive other then the rumbling from time to time. The inside crater has ledges and stuff people can walk along. And the place smells bad but not bad enough that you can't breath.)) (My character is inside the volcano so once your character is inside then my character will so up.)

Ruko walks onto a ledge in the crater. he sniffs the air, wincing slightly at the rotting-eggs smell.
he looks down, at the black pit caused by the temporary plugging of the volcano, and instinctively grips the edge. Out of whimsy, he calls out: "Hello!" down the pit. He grins when it echoes back to him.

"Hello." Damon answers after Ruko's echo died away.
Once looked for Damon was pretty easy to spot. About ten feet down in the crater, leaning up against the redish brown rock stood a tall black haired man wearing sparing amount of armor across his body.

Ruko rears up in surprise. he wasn't actually expecting an answer other than his own echo.
he looks around for the person who had replied, and saw damon. how odd... he thought, so thats a full-grown human he had never seen any humans except the children who would occasionally play with him in the forest. they weren't bad sorts- they always found fun games to play.
he wasn't sure about the full grown ones, though.
but, he decided to try his luck. he walks across the ledge and then jumps down to the next one, almost like a cat. he does this until he is on the same ledge as the tall man.

(Sense your character is clearly not human, must be an elf right?)
(Just some quick stats on Damon, he stands at 5' 7" and has jetblack hair.)
"Would you look at that Bloodshed. Someone actually made it all the way up here." Damon says, talking to what appeared to be a large rock near to his right boot.
