In addition to the guild rules, the following rules apply in this forum:

1.) No old vs. new series flamewars, please. It's okay to state your opinion of either show, but it's not okay to attack other posters and/or generally make an a** of yourself over it. For one thing, some of us happen to like both (it's possible, y'know). For another, it's just pointless and destructive, since neither side will ever be able to change the other's mind. And yes, I know the history of the flamewars and why it's so difficult for the two sides to find common ground, but try, dangit. If Richard Hatch of all people can learn to let the animosity go, so can you. If you can't, then go do your ranting/flaming elsewhere.

2.) Please include spoiler warnings in your subject headings, if your thread is, in fact, spoilerish. This applies to both series- after all, you never know who hasn't seen the older episodes yet! If your spoiler is about a particular episode, please include the name of the episode in your spoiler warning; if it's for the series' overall plot arc, please say something like, "Spoilers up to [episode name]".

That's basically it. smile Here's hoping that this will become a fun and sane place to discuss BSG in all of its incarnations!
