The first one is really cute! The moon in the second one reminds me of Majora's Mask, which never hurt anybody.

Awww, I just want to hug the first image, and the second has a really neat pose. You've done a wonderful job on both. I rather like the background you've placed in the second image. The fun moon face is just wicked. xd

Yeah, but it can also nice if you do something, dont like it, and then do it again later to see how much you've improved/changed.

You're characters are especially cute. I suggest trying a little more varation in colors to give more depth and realism to your peices. I also suggest trying to clean up your lines unless you were going for the sketchy feel.
I would work with the character more. Once you have established a good character its good to use it more. Keep drawing!
