"Damn hot."
Zsolt raised his hands to his forehead while looked up at the sky. The weather was so badly hot lately these days as it was an oven. Even he was the demon which is species that has strong body structure, he still couldn't bare this hot.
He sat on terrace at his own house which located in suburb, close to the forest. He always loves everything, forest, peace, solitude... until he got his companion who he never expected to find and never expected to invite 'him' to live together with him, in this solitary house...
And now... that companion was crying out how hot the weather was...
Zsolt scratched his head a bit when the door opened and revealed small body of the fox - no, the young demi-human. Zsolt sighed as he realised he never gained his solitude once again as long as this pup was around.
"What is it, Laxis?"

And Zsolt suddenly noticed that puppy was all soaked.
"Zsol~~~t" he whined..
"Let's go to the market and buy something cold to eat..... I can't stand this hot anymore...."
Then Zsolt understood what had happened.... The puppy was hot so he soaked himself and now...... he looked down to the floor.
He soaked his house along with....

Zsolt sighed once again as he looked down to the floor. All wet.
Now I have another work to do... But maybe this is a good chance to teach puppy to be responsible to what he done? The demon stood up, said slowly in low voice, "Hmm, Laxis... We can't go outside unless you can get rid of this wet and slippery floor." He sighed again, okay how many times he sighed in this day now? "After you done cleaning the floor, bath and dress new outfit too." Laxis was going to say something but got interrupted, "And don't whine. Just do it. You must try to do..." Zsolt walked through the door and the pup, he added, "Also don't break anything."
He could hear some muttering words after his back.

After changing his outfit, Laxis went to the bathroom to find some rag for cleaning the floor.
What is this!? Zsolt is always kind and forgive me, isn't he? Why he look so cold today? Why?! Why?! Why?!
Then he realized when he was on his thought, his frustration made a rag on his hands torned apart.
"Ahh .." He simply muttered.
"Also don't break anything."
Looking down on a rag on his hands, he said softly.
"I knew it..."
"I knew that I'm such a fool and I can't be forgiven all the time... but it's just..." He paused.....
It's just I felt like I'm important to him when I was treated that way...
Laxis put a rag away and went to find another one. He swept all the wet floor and dried a rag. Then he went to Zsolt, frown.
"All done.."

"Already?" Why it was so fast?
Zsolt took a look around his house, look like the pup done his best for cleaning the floor... though some area was still not so dry up... Whatever, this was good enough. He walked back to Laxis, placed his right hand on the pup's head, and pat him softly, "Good job, boy. Thanks." The demon smile slightly, Now you grow up a little bit...
He sighed a bit when he saw Laxis' eyes, they were hopeless somehow, "What is it? You look depressed..." Or maybe because he was suddenly too harsh for him? He felt repentant for that manner, "Well, how about we go to coffee shop? They have some delicious ice-cream flavors. You may like it. Take a bath and we'll go there."

Laxis nodded. He ran off to change clothes and came back quickly. He stood next to Zsolt to let him know he's ready, but said nothing. He was so eager to taste the new flavors, just thinking how it was when it touched his lips is unbearable, but he has to stay calm.
He knew Zsolt hates dog and may be hate children? Laxis used to go outside and saw teenagers in the same age of him, some of them work to gain money for his own, some of them dresses in a modern style. They look so mature.
May be Zsolt might be embarrassed sometimes? When he acted so childish, when he ran around curious on everything and broke privacy stuffs?
Laxis didn't want that, he didn't want to ashame Zsolt's name. So he acted so calm when they passed a steak house and remained silent when a man from a sweet shop offer him to try their new chocolate.

Zsolt thought Laxis acted so strange for today. He was too calm... It was not like usual him. What happened to Laxis? Zsolt decided to keep silent. It was not the right time to ask... There was an opportunity when they arrived at coffee shop.
The demon ordered Iced Cappuchino, and Laxis ordered Lemon Ice-cream Sorbet.
He decided to ask what he thought all the way while waiting for his drink, "What happened Laxis? It's unusual for you today. I mean... your habit..."

Laxis who was bringing his spoon full of lemon ice-cream into his mouth, paused.
"Ehh? I don't see anything different." He gave Zsolt a smile, a smile that he thought it was an act of a mature boy, but in Zsolt side of view, it was so damn suspicious.

Zsolt smiled wearily. This must be it. He was too harsh to Laxis. That was why the pup acted so very unusual. It's just... it's just not like his own self. Maybe it was too fast for him... who hadn't been with someone. He didn't know what happened with Laxis' past. He never asked. Laxis never told. Same as his own story. If he judges from what he seen while lives with Laxis, he knows that Laxis didn't have enough care like other ordinary children. Zsolt understood that why Laxis always acts childish and he accepted what he be.
But now why suddenly changed? Did he do something ... wrong to this poor boy?
"Laxis, I... will go to smoke a bit. You wait here. I'll be back." He put a glass of iced coffee down, stood up, and walked away without looking back.

Laxis sat still while he watched Zsolt left. He sighed.
Fuuu.. I hope I did nothing wrong..
Laxis looked at the ice-cream that wasn't eaten yet, it started to melt down.
"s**t!!" Then he swallowed it all...
The freeze started from his libs to his throat. Laxis' face started to redden more and more. He put his hand on his mouth suffering from the cold. He tried his best not to cry out.
"What is that kid doing..." One waitress said to another when she saw Laxis seem like he performed some strange dancing at his desk.

The demon walked to nowhere. Just let his legs took its way. Laxis' strange habit was so wrong. It was just wrong. Zsolt couldn't find the answer why he felt annoying when looked at those odd behavior of Laxis'.
"Let it out, Zsolt. If you don't say, who is going to understand you, right?"
Sweet voice echoed in his memory. That was long time ago... she taught it to him... but he still couldn't do what she taught. He was still the same.
Thin grey smoke slowy flew into the air. The eye red stared at it until it vanished.
What is Laxis doing now I wonder? He looked down at his wristwatch and it was around 10 mins since he left Laxis in that coffee shop. Now the man sat in small park near the coffee shop, smoking. He needed time to calm himself down.
"Maybe I should take Laxis back home..." Zsolt mumbled to himself. Inhaling smoke of cig and releasing it again.
He raised his head up and met beautiful grey eyes looked back to him.
"Ah... Adriana..."

"What are you doing here all alone Zsolt? Where is him?" A beautiful lady whom everyone in this town knows asked with her melodious voice. Adriana looked around and didn't find the boy she expected to see. "Didn't Laxis come with you?" She sat down aside Zsolt.

"Just smoking... and Laxis did come with me," Zsolt nodded, moved a bit to give a seat for Adriana, "I left him at the coffee shop... I was going to take him but here you found me." He paused a little before asked her back, "Your turn, what are you doing here?" It was just a manner to ask.
