I come back after a week of being absent and find people in panic mode because of Karin? Is Sasuke not allowed to get close to any female other than Sakura now? Calm down. Sasuke and Karin would have to go through just as much as Sasuke and Sakura did before you can really even -consider- them becoming a canon couple.
Now, I got this from NarutoFan. I don't remember who it was originally posted by, but all credit goes to whoever that was.
I'm assuming this is an interview with Sakura's Japanese VA, Chie Nakamura.
Note: The whole thing is NOT translated, but the part about Sasuke is; that should be enough, right? Credit goes to nightmistress at NF for getting someone to translate it. XFusionX at NF The big yellow words: In Shippuden, expect to see a ton of Sakura's inner personality!! First big red words: Kishimoto agrees Sakura might get alot of spotlight!? Following black print: Out of all the Shippuden characters, Sakura is quite possibly the one with the most improvement. Nakamura: Learning super strength and medicinal jutsus, Sakura has grown so much. Previously speaking to Kishimoto, he mentioned he may have given Sakura too much spotlight in part 2. (Chuckles) If Sakura is going to show her skills, myself as a voice actress should try hard too. Especially with her new ability of super strength, her "Inner Sakura" can be let out without constraints. I am excited to voice the new Sakura's "Shaaannaro!" Second big red words: The changing feelings toward Sasuke Following black print: In Shippuden, does Sakura's feelings toward Sasuke change at all? Nakamura: Previously Sakura just had a huge crush on Sasuke, but once he left the village, she got the mind set of "I'll do something about it." As the show progresses, I am worried as well as excited for Sakura.--- With Sakura's new skills, we have high hopes for Sakura's achievements in part 2! nightmistress at NF Actually guys, I had another friend of mine translate it and she said the title says "Holding my feelings for Sasuke more sincerely/strongly than I had before" and NOT "Sakura's changing feelings." Of course, this is just a VA's opinion and isn't official, but I thought it might make some of you happy.

...Well. It certainly makes up for that horrid THING in the bottom right corner. gonk I don't get it! In the manga, she's, imo, beautiful! WHY DO THEY RUIN THE HOTTNESS THAT IS TS-SAKURA?!
Mah. It doesn't really change my views on anything, but this is what I LOVE about most Japanese mangaka and anime VAs: their attitute. "If Sakura is going to show her skills, myself as a voice actress should try hard too."
I really like that attitude! It's really great that such a will to do justice to their characters is persistant. Thought it's their opinions, there's always a fun and merry sound to it, and it makes me feel that the anime is in very good hands.
With the voices.
*"O_o"-ing at the bottom right picture still*

I find that Seiyuu have interesting stances when it comes to their character's development. Sakura's voice actor is certainly trying her best to present her as a more stronger individual (with or without her feelings), so I can admire that.
I like nightmistress' translation, better. xD
And yeahhh. The animation team just hates Sakura. -_- They've never done her justice, even in the earlier arcs. Really, the Shippuden episodes frustrate me for this reason. I mean WTF, draw her FMB boots right at least. scream

I thought she looked fine in the Shippuden Intro.
Of course that was probably the only time. I'll go with what Iia told me on MSN.. she only looks good for Sasuke. :3 Or something like that. I'm half asleep here. Iia will correct me if I'm wrong. >_>

You've been lurking in the SasuSaku FC I see. <3
peebs actually said that she agrees with everything except the crush part. She said it's more like "IN LOVE" than crush. wink
Sakura only loved him at first, but now she wants to do more. And that her feelings are stronger than they were before.
btw, Sakura's seiyu talked to Kishi too. In the interview it says:
Previously speaking to Kishimoto,
VAs know things. This reminds me of Naruto's seiyu and how she DOUBTS NaruSaku will happen! lmao blaugh

First off, welcome back Kairi~!
Second, I at least feel content with the little glimmer of hope I got out of nightmistress' translation. Really made my day. x3
...Can't really think of anything else to say. I'm still half asleep, and it's after 9 in the morning here. D:

Crack/Joke Theory made: Naruto asks for dates out of pity that she looks bad (in the anime), and meanwhile, Sasuke is set that she's smoking hot. :'D

Minna-san, moushiwake gozaimasen!
I totally forgot to post that here. Me and peebs did go over it last night and came to the same consensus as my friend. The kanji in the title implies holding onto feelings so, yeah. smile And that translation is completely unbiased by my friend because she hates Sasuke. I actually changed Sasuke's name to someone else when I gave it to her, just in case she refused. sweatdrop The seiyuu still doesn't give too much away though.
After looking at chapter 350, I feel like the interview coincides with it. Sakura certainly didn't look like her feelings lessened any. I could feel it. I was kinda hoping for a similar reaction from Naruto though because I think back to the early 300s, he was in so much pain and really down. But he does continue to be his typical naive self. Sometimes it's cute, other times I just sigh gonk .

I'm putting this up in the resource - I don't CARE if some may think of it as only vaguely SasuSaku.
I think anyone who's involved in the production has some merit with whatever they say. I'm sure Nakamura Chie understands Sakura's character better than most particularly because she has to put in Sakura's feelings into her voice, and I think her opinion on her feelings for Sasuke matters - it does seem like something from the POV of someone who is more connected to the Narutoverse than we are. And if she says Sakura's going to do something about her feelings for Sasuke, then we can hold on to that hope.
As for the caption about holding her feelings more sincerely, I certainly hope that means her love is becoming even deeper! If that statement doesn't hold any truth or foreshadowing to it then why would Shounen Jump even publish it? (Yes, that's the overly optimistic SasuSaku-er in me talking. XD)
I like how Chie-san does her work with Sakura, though - especially in 109. She managed to make it sound so... emotional. It was the sound of her heartbroken voice that really made me nearly cry at the episode. Chie-san is probably one of the few characters who get to experience such a variety of changes in their voices. (Such as when Sakura goes from gentle to brutally Inner Sakura.)
As for Sakura's art... yes. The fast-forward clip of Sakura and Naruto meeting Sasuke again was superbly made, and so was the Shippuden OP. But the next few episodes have been mediocre in how they were made. I wish that the animation quality could have stayed the same as that clip.

*points to picture of sakura* WHAT THE HAY IS THAT?? D: Her jaw is more square than a house.
Quoting Jiraiya- "Strength and beauty??" YOU HEARD THE PERV, ANIMATION TEAM.
Anyway, this thing made me smile. Sakura was already devoted to him, and now it just shows that she's even more so! And anyway all the seiyuus seem to be convinced that SasuSaku is more likely than NaruSaku. Heck, Junko Takeuchi even said that she doubts NaruSaku will happen. I'm sooo looking forward to the new chapterrrs!~~~~ The story is far from over! Who knows what will happen?

I keep hearing, or reading rather, that Junko said that she doubts Narusaku would happen. Where do people find out about these things?

That was on the page right beside this Sakura one that was translated. It was about Naruto. Thing is, she said she had doubts, but she had a good feeling. She didn't go into detail as to what those feelings were. I just wrote this on NF but she could mean that Naruto and Sakura will maintain a strong healthy platonic relationship, but Naruto's romance prospects won't completely go by the waste-side which would make more Hinata involvement perfect.
