Hey all. My bestest of buddies who is really intelligent has just joined Gaia not too long ago. He's looking to meet some actual smart people on this site it's a tried, tested and true fact that some of Gaia's brightest and angriest come here for rest and relaxation, so I was hoping that the bosses would give The_Brucolac an AYGGS invite so he can jam with the cool kids. My friend is awesome, honest. Thanks guys!

Well, he get +10 brownie points for the nick, that's for sure. Unless it wasn't inteded as a reference to China Mieville's body of work.
Also tell him what we need over here is pineapples, so chop chop at that.

The lack of fruit, and its replacement with a japanese snack, disappoints me so. Since fruit is healthy and full of vitamins while Pocky is NOT.

Fruit isn't as tasty as pocky. Fruit also rots if not refrigerated, whereas I have never seen or heard of pocky rotting. In the case of a nuclear holocaust, fruit would be destroyed. I'm willing to bet that pocky would be around for a while.

No that's Twinkies you're thinking off. Those survive anything.

You know Twinkies can do just about anything, as comics taught us...

Well, yes, of course twinkies can survive anything. They are made out of an indestructible material. I'm not saying pocky would still be good 2000 years after nuclear winter hit. I'm saying fruit wouldn't be good at all. Though I will give fruit points for its mutation potential. Pocky can't mutate. Nothing like a gigantic carnivorous pear to keep people on their toes and liven up a nuke-day festival.
