Days such as these seemed to confirm the fact that Crowley was always around when you wished him to be elsewhere and never around when you wished to find him. He had been wandering around for a better part of the day now searching for the snake and he was, amazingly enough, nowhere to be found. That could have been because it was daylight and he was searching the plains... But that thought didn't even begin to occur to him until the sun began to set.
He paused atop a grassy hill, sighing softly as his eyes settled on the radiant scene before him. Sunset. He could think of nothing more glorious except, perhaps, sunrise and that was topped only by the taste of flowers containing honeyed nectar. If, somehow, one could combine all of those things he might consider himself in paradise.

He had spent the better part of the day shaded from the heat of the sun in a stand of trees. Said trees were filled with a rather tasty fruit of some sort, he wasn't paying attention to what kind, and he'd nibbled on his fill of them. If the gold and white stallion had wanted to find him it would have been easy but Az never did look where he should for him.
He always had loved trees and being surrounded by them. It helped when they were filled with something tasty too. Crunching another of the fruits in half he shook his head and moved away from the trees. The night was just getting on and now he didn't have to worry about the heat of the day baking him into a pretty crisp.
Shaking his head, braids rattling against his neck, he looked across the horizon. He snorted as he saw a familiar gold head illuminated by the setting sun. If that wasn't a sight he was familier with.

Aishwarya yawned a little, shaking her mane as another day drew to a close. The long locks had felt heavy on her neck all day and she'd spent most of it near a lake, the air a little cooler there. Now as she moved she was glad for the soft evening breeze that gently lifted her mane away from her skin.
She scanned the horizon, then watched as the sun slowly moving towards it, and squinted a little, not sure if the flash of something was from staring at the sun directly or if there was a Soquili on the hill. She wandered along towards the hill, moving up the incline, towards the horse who she was slowly realising that she knew. 'Aziraphale?' she called quietly.

He had been lost in the beauty of the moment, golden eyes following the movement of color throughout the sky until the sun had become so bright that he'd had to close them. The warmth of that final burst of sunlight peering through the clouds had filled him with ease. He appeared truly relaxed standing atop that hill... Almost as if he were a different stallion.
That changed the moment Aishwarya's soft voice touched his ears. His talk with the stallion he had met not long after her had calmed him considerably but it still wasn't proper to have one's guard down in such a manner around company. He straightened out, giving his head a light toss to clear it before turning towards the mare. "Good evening, Madame."

As he trotted toward the hill he noticed another form joining that of the white stallion. So he'd made friends already. Just like him to some how manage to collect things, and if this didn't happen to be a lovely little Mare. Well wonders never cease
He stopped far enough away from the two that he could just barely hear their conversation. If Aziraphale was up to something he wanted to make sure he heard all the details before he joined in on the fun. It meant that Az would most likely call him a snake again but he was used to that.

'And to you. I'm glad to see you again Aziraphale.' Aishwarya looked up at him until she was on a more level footing, getting her breath back before speaking again. 'It was a lovely sunset, and you looked as if you were enjoying it. Am I disturbing you?' she asked, suddenly thinking that maybe she was. She also wondered if somehow she would manage to make him uncomfortable in her presence again; she hoped not though. 'I do hope I am not, and that you have been well since we last spoke. Have you seen your - friend?'

"No, no. Of course not. Besides, this hill is public ground and as much yours to occupy as mine." He nodded, flashing her a soft smile. "I was enjoying the sunset. I rarely take enough time from my day to properly appreciate them."
He sighed softly at the mention of his 'friend', shaking his head. "No, I'm afraid I haven't which is dreadful because I spent all day looking for him." He'd had something important to tell Crowley about, afterall. "He is never around when you want him to be and always around when you wish he wasn't..." He snorted softly. "But, enough of unpleasantries. How are you this fine evening, Madame?"

"You know. If you'd stop looking in places that you'd be and look in places that i would be you'd find me." He chuckled as he made his way up the hill. "I"ve been in the same spot since some time this morning." Az never bothered to find him the right way and always complained that he was never where he was suppose to be. He thought he was most certainly where he was 'suppose' to be even if the other stallion didn't believe so.
He bowed his head in greeting to the mare. "Good evening." he lifted his head and looked at the other stallion. "Az, you should tell me when you make such lovely friends. You know i would hate to not be able to see who you're spending your time with." His smile turned to her easily.

'It's always best to ask I find.' she said with a little incline of her head and a smile. 'Oh? I am sorry you have been searching for him without much luck,' Aishwarya began to say, and then her nostrils twitched as the scent of another stallion and she turned, her eyes taking in the dark form, a moving shadow on the hill. She stifled laughter at the newcomer's words, from just those few she could tell that theirs was an actual friendship. 'I am well,' she spoke to Aziraphale, her eyes flicking from Crowley to Az and then back again. 'Greetings..' she said, dipping her head in a small bow. 'I am Aishwarya.'

He snorted softly, resisting the urge to roll his eyes at Crowley's words. "You will have to excuse him, Madame. He has absolutely no manners whatsoever. Aishwarya, may I introduce you to Crowley. Crowley," He turned his head slightly in order to give the other stallion the 'you had better behave yourse'f look', "this is Madame Aishwarya."

"Yes, so she said" He looked at Az for a moment before turning his attention back to the mare. "Whatever he said about me i promise is far from the truth. He's just not unappreciative of my ... talents"
Though Az probably didn't think of anything he did as a talent either that wouldn't stop him from saying so. It could at least make the white stallion flustered and that always entertained him.

Aishwarya chuckled at the two stallions and their interactions with one another. 'I did but Aziraphale was being the gentlemanly one that he is.' she smiled. 'He didnt say a great deal in specifics about you, called you a friend of sorts.' she eyed Crowley unabashedly. What Az had in dapperness, Crowley had in mystery. 'So you tell me about yourself,' she blew in exasperation, then shook her head to get her hair from her eyes.

He snorted softly, giving his head a light toss. "I'll have you know that I said nothing about you to Madame Aishwarya that I would not say to you directly... And I do not lie. You know that just as well as I do, Crowley."
Crowley... One of the few Soquili that had perfected the art of ruffling his proverbial feathers, stirring his proper demeanor and tossing everything that Aziraphale tried to be right out the window.

He raised a brow and grinned at his friend. "Considering what you've said to me directly i could come up with some horrible things you could have told her."
He turned his attention back to her almost as if he was ignoring the white stallion. "There is so little yet so much to tell. I would not consider it an interesting story either way. I'm sure there are far better things to talk about than the two of us. About yourself perhaps?"

Aishwarya was silent, continuing to enjoy the banter between the two males. 'I dont know about that.' she spoke slowly as if weighing her words. Then she chuckled. 'I'll talk about myself if you two return the favour.' she shook her mane from eyes again, the motion causing the gold jewellery to dance with an accompanying jangling sound. 'I find your dynamic highly interesting.'
