why is it that all the dyclonious in the anime version of Elfen Lied
had different shades of pink hair? Is it a fashion statment? xD
I know the wierd proffesors had horns as well.. but they where bald.
so they dont count xD
(i havn't read the anime, so i dont know about the hair colors in there)
and why where there only GIRL dyclocious?
are they sexist or somthing? : O
well.. besides the baldies again ; D

Well, it must be genetic. The men, as you said, are bald, but also have no control over vectors. Also, the female's eyes aer also pink or purple.

I think the girls are diclonius, just becuz women are more dangerous than men...lol Plus I think for men being diclonius, the symtom of bladness will occur....lol lol

well, i think men diclonius are not genetically bald, i think they shaved there head to disguise them selfs so they wouldn't be noticed that easy, and also it dosent show that they use their vectors, so maybe the one that got killed didn't have time to prepare for his vectors to be used, also i remember him saying all i have have are my horns now, so maybe his experiments have made his vectors to stop working.
and as i saw they had red eyes, maybe their hair is red not pink

In the manga the hair colors are not all pink, Marikos is blonde, Nanas is like a deep shade of purple. And Lucy/Nyus eyes are green.

They can have any color of hair, originally the creator of Elfen Lied wanted Mariko to have blonde hair, which in my opinion makes her seem more cute and innocent....even though I wouldn't want to be in a room with her, within 11 meters....
Also the men don't have hair, who knows why, but in another thread I've already answered the question why men diclonius(the only 2 shown in the series) don't have vectors.....

Every anime seems to have at least one pink haired girl. Sakura from Naruto, Lucy/Nyu from Elfen Lied, Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed/Destiny.

If I was born a diclonius and didn't have pink hair, I would just dye it. No matter what, the pink hair would be mine!
