What are some of the most overdone fanfiction (or fanart) scenarios you've seen? I see a lot of alternate universe fanfics that are done way too often. Example: Bakura/Dark Bakura fic where Bakura is an angel and Dark Bakura is a demon. I've seen that one a lot.

How about the whole "Jounouchi is abused by his father so Kaiba takes him in thing?" XD;; Or the whole "someone is raped so someone else helps them get over it?"

I mostly hate how Ryou is portrayed at an innocent little cream puff who can't do anything for himself. I never thought that Ryou was that lame, but apparently fan girls enjoy turning him into a complete p***y. T.T;;
Although.. I tend to avoid bad fanfics, since I hardly read them at all in the first place. Oddly enough I've heard of the "Kaiba takes Jou in scenario," and I would never look up puppyshipping. Goes to show you how overdone that idea is... ^^;;

Yeah, Jou having an abusive father is a popular one; it doesn't even have to be Jou/Kaiba. True, but it's definitely the most common with Kaiba. XD

I know that Ryou's character is rather shy, quiet and reserved, but he's not totally innocent. wink

Kitsune-chan: As for your quiz... I know that Ryou's eye color changed, but I can't think of any others. I think Kaiba's hair color changed... but that's not relevant.

I hear you, it's so common. But yeah another common one is where Jou and Kaiba have to work on a project together, esp. the fake baby projects. And the Ryou-creampuff (that are actually really good ^^) are really common.
