Daigo*Stardust. There is no way, aside from visuals, that he could be confused for a glam artist. His lyrics are much too innocent, sweet, and generally lightweight to be in the same group as works of Bowie or T.Rex. As time grows on, he's getting less glam and more mainstream, which is unfortunate, but he's still something interesting and unique.
Not to mention, as you might have inferred from the name, he absolutely worships Bowie.

Lady Stardust vs. Queen Stardust.They sound nothing alike, but the style of lyrics is reminiscent of some of Bowie's lighter stuff... even though it's much more cotton candy than Bowie could ever be.
Legendary Stardust Cowboy vs. Eien no Space Cowboy [Eternal Space Cowboy]Okay, so this is sort of related in a vague way, but it still counts! XD
Starman vs. Ash and DiamondsThe opening and ending of Ash and Diamonds is very similiar to Starman. In the end, especially, he sings "la la la la.."

xd Anyway, like I said, he's not a brilliant artist all by himself, he's no musical heavyweight, but he's got a nice voice and a nice style. I hope you've found this entertaining, at least.
