Have you ever heard of him? I hear he's rather famous among teenagers... he's a blues harmonica player... (harmonicist?) and he plays different songs with practically any people he can find! If you know the 12-bar blues, supposedly you can play successfully with him. And it's true... if he's as famous as he's said to be, I should be boasting that I played with him and his "blues in the schools" campaign... and will be playing again with him on Oct. 23... so have you heard of him? Have you seen him?

well look him up, y'all! Search for "Mick Martin" and the first thing that should come up is "Mick Martin and the Blues Rockers," a site dedicated to them. If you click on the link, the picture will show him in the middle. That actually isn't the band I played with, but I hear he doesn't keep the same performers unless he's doing a festival, or something like that. Kewl guy, tho. If any of you live around Sacramento, come to the "Blues in the Schools" at the Clarion Hotel this October 23... You may just meet me there... wink ...
