>_> Um...to be perfectly honest, Luna-chan did something stupid over Spring Break. Who didn't, right? But like many other women her age, she found herself pregnant earlier this week, and is now looking for alternatives, preferably cheap ones, as she has no money, is emigrating in a couple of months, and hates children with a burning passion. These two sites were lifesavers, both listing safe medical alternatives for inducing a miscarriage in the beginning stages of pregnancy, and they are Sister Zeus and Angry for a Reason's BlogBoth are sites for women like me (...or most likely, those who were just as stoned/drunk as I was) These sites have helped me out a lot, and can be real lifesavers. Bookmark, ladies! Ctrl/Cmd+D, f00! >> And for the record, yes, I know I'm st00pit.

Hey now, making one "stupid" mistake doesn't make you stupid. Everyone does it, all you can do is learn from it and move on.
All I can tell you about using the alternatives is to be careful, and the websites will say the same. I wish you good luck, and it's too bad that you don't have the money to have other options. Is there no way you could afford a legal abortion? No one you could borrow money from? Or could you look into making a payment plan with Planned Parenthood or something?

I'd also like to add that, just in response to the second page's title, there is no such thing as a safe miscarriage. Even natural miscarriages can be fatal, so be aware of that.
And realize that if the herbal remedies fail it's even more important that you have a clinical abortion.

Sol_Lunarena Aye, I know. But when I say there are no other options for me, I mean... >>; I have 14.73USD in my bank account. Total. I understand that... but what would you do if the herbal methods fail?

where do you live? in california, my suction abortion was essentially free. MediCal paid for it. the local WIC helped me a lot. i'm just worried about any nasty effects of herbal abortions. D; stay safe, and you're not stupid. everyone makes mistakes.

When I had my abortion, I was a student and had a low income. I paid $15. Do give PP call if you had any issues with the herbals. Good luck!

Currently, I live in Texas. But I have only CHiPS healthcare, which doesn't cover abortions. >> I mean, hell, I had to wait two years to get my knee surgery CONTEMPLATED.
And fortunately, I come from a long line of white earth witches, so I've been exposed to everything before. >_> And it'll be more safe than the last one I had. (age 15, no anesthesia, no real doctor, a razorblade and alcohol)
And due to my small size, I'm prone to miscarriage anyway. I just wanna hurry this one along. >> I don't like it when my period escapes me.

NOO!!! But the clothshanger industry NEEDS YOU!!!
Okay, I shouldn't laugh- that is kinda serious. Before you call yourself st00pid, let me regall you about just last week, on a cruise ship, during a buffet, I ate the decorations instead of the actual food. And didn't even know it. "Hey, this is kinda chewy..."
But yeah, we'd all feel a WHOLE lot better if you'd contact professionals...

Seriously, this guild is about supporting a woman's right to choose by keeping it legal and keeping it SAFE. "Herbal alternatives" could poison you, and a miscarraige, even a minor one, is always dangerous. If you can go to your parents, do that. I'm sure that being angry at you for getting pregnant is a lot better than them being angry at you for hurting or killing yourself.
I still think Planned Parenthood may be able to help you, even if you have no money. Please consider it and do some research. Call them, if you can.

A quick question, when you got pregnant, were you on the pill, and did you use a condem? Sorry, I have to ask, I am trying to figure out if the pill and condem will actually work that well....

That question, also could be better solved with actual research and going to trusted experts on the subject. Planned Parenthood's website has some information about various methods ofbirth control: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/birth-control-pregnancy/birth-control-4211.htm I'm sure you can find other accurate sources online (and check your local library, too, you may be suprised.) The Condom: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/birth-control-pregnancy/birth-control/condom.htm (Not "work safe." Has illustrations demonstrating how to use a condom.) Quote: "Of 100 women whose partners use condoms, about 15 will become pregnant during the first year of typical use.* Only two women will become pregnant with perfect use.** More protection against pregnancy is possible if condoms are used with a spermicide foam, cream, jelly, suppository, or film. *Typical use refers to failure rates when use is not consistent or always correct. **Perfect use refers to failure rates for those whose use is consistent and always correct." "The Pill": http://www.plannedparenthood.org/birth-control-pregnancy/birth-control/the-pill.htm Quote: The pill is one of the most effective reversible methods of birth control. Of 100 women who use the pill, only eight will become pregnant during the first year of typical use.* Fewer than one will become pregnant with perfect use.** Maybe slightly less effective for overweight women. Please, for your own health and safety, research things like this. Asking people about their personal experiences may help, but it's best for you to actually do some research on the medical facts. If at all possible, ask someone at a family planning clinic.
