What do you think? Is the teacher on student pairing...

Just ***** my personal opinion, I do not like any teacherxstudent pairings. I am not saying some could not work out, but I just do not have a liking for any. I think it is just a bit... wrong. Not only are most of the teachers between 15 to 20 years older than their students, they share more of a family relationship than a lover one.
The teachers love their students, but not in a "I want to touch you and have sex with you" kind of way. It is like suggesting that a father grope and have sex with his daughter/son.
Nothing against the people who like those pairings. I see it from your point of veiw, it just does not register in my mind. 3nodding
But I wondered... what do you all think? It is interesting to hear it from other points of veiw. ^____^

[tongue-tied and oh-so-squeamish]Truthfully, I think that if two people really love each other, age does not matter.
However, in Naruto terms, I can only see the teachers and students having family relationships, canon-wise.
Nonetheless, teacher/student is one of my guilty pleasures. Especially GaiLee. Mmm. X3 [you never fell in love]

Well, in my oppinion age shouldn't matter attraction-wise, but they should wait to have sexual relations until the student is over 18 years old. In the Naruto fandom I can't really see anybody having a romantic relationship with their student, but to each his own. =)

Well, in my opinion, I think it's gross, I totally agree with you Chippy, though, I have to agree with Reybii...GaiLee is awesome!!!

Well, if the student is 14 or younger, I find it kind of disgusting. Any older than that, and I really couldn't care less! I don't really have an opinion on teacher x student pairings; they're just there. And sometimes they're even cute. : o

TeacherxStudent pairings in Naruto are some of my top favorites.... ^_^
I'm okay with it... But I don't know about other TeacherxStudent pairings.... I only like it in Naruto.... *shrugs*

So far, it actually seems a lot of people here like the student and teacher pairings!
You do have a point with age not mattering in love Reybii, but I just cannot be any teachers and students in Naruto falling in love with one another.
Haku and Zabuza is a exception. Now that is a great pairing. 4laugh Not teacher student... but in the same ballpark.

I think that honestly it doesn't really make that big of a difference. If the teacher student relationship were in a fictional story/manga/anime then that tends to make a pretty interesting plot and what not. But in real life it wouldn't work out. The age difference is too high in most situations and society frowns upon that kind of relationship. But hey if those two really love each other then go on right ahead. I always say what ever floats your boat you know what I mean? I hope my opinion helps in any way.

For me it really depends on the pairing. Cannon wise none of the Naruto teacher student pairing would ever happen because for reasons stated above, the teachers are like fathers to their students. But all yaoi is fantasy pretty much and none of it will ever happen anyway, so I guess if it's teacher student yaoi just for the sake of being yaoi then anything if fair game.

I'm iffy on it. There's only one teacherxstudent pairing I like (GaiLee= My Friday nights <3) but I guess it's a matter of opinion. I don't really like KakaSasu, IruNaru, etc., but that's because I can't see the love, not because of age.

Well I understand it but I'm not a big fan of it....
I have to agree with chippy. Teachers take on a role similar to that of fathers. Kakashi, Iruka, Gai, and all the rest, consider their students as their kids in a way and looks after them, teaching everything they know, and caring for them- but not in a sexual way.

I like cross gen or Teacher/Student, they're some of my favorites, but Naruto's one of the few where I don't really see tons and tons of great S/T pairings. There are a few, however; GaiLee is awesome, of course, and HakuZabu which is just plain love. I dunno if Orochimaru/Kabuto counts, but I love it too wink .
Mostly, I see Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura (o.O) being a bit too preoccupied with their own generation than Kakashi or Iruka.
