Yeah, I wrote this a while back but didn't finish it, I'll post what I have, and then hopefully write some more. Please tell me what you think, but don't be to mean, O.K?
Chapter 1
In the cold dark emptiness of space, something floated, lost and alone. On the outside, it was a battle spaceship. On in the inside, it was something much, much more. It was a spaceship, but a space ship with a heart. And right at that moment, that heart was breaking. “He’s dead.†She thought, that plain and simple fact truly sinking in now. If she had eyes, she would have been crying. What was there left for her in life now? What was a TARDIS without a timelord? She thought back, to the last moments of the time war, when the Doctor had destroyed the whole race of the Darleks, and all the timelords with them. But her timelord was determined not to let her die. They’d always been especially close, he’d talked to her, seen her as a person, and he’d been determined to save her life. He’s transported himself to another TARDIS, and sent her, his own TARDIS, away, through time and space to, where? Where was she? She tried to scan the area and find out, but as she did she felt a surging pain rush though her circuits. She hadn’t escaped damage. Her systems were failing, she felt another rush or excruciating pain. If she could have, she would have screamed. Then as the pain subsided a little, and she was able to check her systems, she saw how badly she’d been hit. Really badly. All her systems were shutting down. In a moment, she would be dead. With her timelord gone, she didn’t really mind if she died or not, except, he had saved her life. He wanted her to live, and if that’s what he wanted, that’s what she would do. Problem was, with her systems failing fast, she had no idea how to save herself. Then, by some miracle, her navigation systems came back on line. She didn’t know when she was, but she knew where she was. She was orbiting that little planet called Earth. A fresh wave of pain made her realise she had to act fast. And then suddenly, she had an idea. It was mad, insane, it could never work, but it was all she had. She summoned ever ounce of power she had. This was something that had never been tried before. She had no idea if it would work. But she had to try. She forced herself to concentrate, ignoring the bursting pain. Using all her power, she created skin, flesh, a fully working human body. And put herself, her essence, her being, inside that body. Slowly, ever so slowly, she opened her eyes, and looked around. She was on Earth, no doubt about that sometime during the 22 or 23 century. She was lying on a cold, hard pavement. And slowly, ever so slowly, she looked down at herself. She had arms and legs, she was wearing clothes! Shakily, she got up and made her way over to a car. She looked in the car mirror. A seven old, human girl, with a thin face, pale skin, frizzy, curly light brown hair and deep turquoise eyes, stared back at her. She reached up and touched the face. She trembled. It had worked, she was alive, but she wasn’t a TARDIS any more. She was a seven year old human girl.

Chapter 2
The girl looked up at the sky. It was the dead of night. The moon hung brightly over head. As she looked at the moon, her mind began to race. What should she do? How was she to live? She’d need food, and water. She’d need a house, money. Somewhere in her mind, she remembered something. On Earth, children with no parents were looked after in a place called, a place called, she struggled to remember it. A foster home, that was it. Maybe if she could find one of them...... Her thoughts broke off as she stared at the building in front of her. It was tall, red brick and had a sign on it that read: “West Park Children’s Care Homeâ€. She landed right outside a care home! What were the chances? Just at that moment, the heavens opened. It started raining heavily. She had to get inside! But what could she do?! Knock on the care home’s door and say, “Hello, I used to be a TARDIS, but now my timelord is dead and I’ve taken the form of a girl so can I stay hereâ€. That would go over well! But she had to do something, so, taking her courage into both hands, she walked up to the door and rung the doorbell. After she’d rung it about five times, a tired looking man in a dressing gown opened the door. He had a pleasant looking face, and grey-black hair. “Well hello†he said, looking slightly surprised to see a little girl standing there all alone. The girl put on her saddest face. “Please,†She said “My mummy and daddy have gone, I don’t know where to, will you look after me?†“Sure we will darling, ‘No child in Britain shall be left out on the streets’, aye. Come inside†As she followed him up the steps to the door, he asked, “So what’s you’re name then?†“Oh, um, Tina†She didn’t know why she chose it. It was the first name that came into her head. “Well, I’m stuck with it now†she thought. She followed him inside, and sat down on a squashy sofa. “Now then, I’ll make us both some tea.†“Tea?†wondered the newly named Tina, “What’s tea?†When the man brought her she saw that it was a brown coloured liquid. Guessing that she was supposed to drink it, she took a sip. Her first thought was that it was the strangest sensation on Earth. Her second was that it was quite nice. She took a few more sips as the man sat down beside her. “Now,†he said, “What’s your surname?†A lock of Tina’s new brown hair fell in front of her face. “Brown.†she replied. The man continued to ask her many more questions, about her parents, and where she lived, and she made up answers as best she could. Then he gave Tina one of the bedrooms to sleep in, and Tina lay down on the pillows and, for the first time in her life, slept. She dreamt of the doctor, longing for him to find her. But that was practically impossible; as there was no way he could know that she was alive. Years past. Tina stayed, living at the orphanage. For obvious reasons, no one ever found her ‘parents’. She went to school, learned karate, made friends, lived a normal life. Only, it wasn’t normal for her. She got a cat. She named him Caspian, after her timelord. When the cat died, it was the saddest day of her life, except for the one when she first became human. Tina had trouble fitting in. She sometimes acted oddly. And something she’d discovered really didn’t help: she still had some powers she‘d had as a TARDIS. Obviously, she had to hide them. Everyday, she longed for the Doctor, the only surviving timelord, to find her. But he never did. Until one day, the day after her 13th birthday.......

Chapter 3
Rose was woken by the sound of the Doctor calling her name. “What time is it?†she groaned, dragging herself out of bed. “I live outside time.†replied the Doctor with a huge grin. Rose looked at the clock by her bed. “6 o’clock!†she exclaimed, collapsing back onto the bed. “Why’d you wake me up this early?!†“Got a distress call.†replied the Doctor. “Didn’t know we got those.†replied Rose, dragging herself out of bed. “Did it come on the psychic paper or something?†“No, that the odd thing, it came through the TARDIS.†“Is that normal?†“No. Well, when the timelords were around it was. One TARDIS could communicate with another, even across time and space. Great way of sending messages, certainly beat email, but this TARDIS is the only TARDIS left, so how it could receive a message...†his voice broke off. “You don’t think, there could be another surviving timelord?†whispered Rose. “It should be impossible, but...†the Doctor couldn’t conceal the hope from his face. Rose reached out and tenderly stroked his cheek. He gave her a sad little smile before pulling himself together and returning to programming the TARDIS. “Anyway, whoever they are, they’re in distress so we’ll have to fly in and save them. Hold on tight!†The floor started shaking violently and the hole TARDIS began to spin. “Where are we going?!†shouted Rose over the noise. “London. February 13th, 24th century.†The TARDIS suddenly came to a stop. Rose fell flat on her face. The Doctor, amazingly, didn’t look sick, shaken, or even slightly bruised. “Come on then.†he said with a grin, and opened the TARDIS door. They stepped out into a cold February morning. Rose shivered. “So where is this distressed person then?†“Well they must have some TARDIS signal thingy.†“Is that a technical term?†“So I should be able to find them with this.†He whipped his Sonic Screwdriver out of his pocket, and started to scan the area. The he stopped. “That’s odd.†“What?†“The signal seems to be coming form there.†He pointed at a tall, red brick building in front of them. “A children’s home?†“Looks like it.†“Were there any kiddie timelords?†“Yes, time tots, but they didn’t fight in the war, they were on Gallifrey, and there’s no way they could have survived.†“So who, or what?†“I don’t know, but there’s only one way to find out.†He took Rose’s hand, and gave her a huge grin. Rose grinned back and together they walked towards the children’s home.

Chapter 4
The Doctor and Rose made their way up the steps towards the children’s home. The Doctor rang the doorbell and pulled the psychic paper from his pocket. “So who are we then?†asked Rose. “Care home inspectors.†he replied. Before Rose had a chance to responded, the door swung open and an old man with a pleasant looking face, and grey hair opened the door. “Hello.†he said, “Who might you be?†“Care home inspectors.†replied the Doctor, flashing the physic paper in front of the man’s face, and giving his most professional looking smile. Rose rolled her eyes. “I’m Doctor John Smith,†continued the Doctor, “and this is my assistant, Rose Tyler.†“Well, sir, madam, if you’d like to come in side and look around, I’m sure you’ll find everything is up to standard. I pride myself in treating the children very well.†“Good man.†said Doctor, clapping him on the back as he made his way through the door, Rose behind him. “Assistant?!†muttered Rose. “Well...†began the Doctor, but before he could get any further the man interrupted. “Would you like me to show you around?†“No thanks.†replied the Doctor, “We’ll just look around by ourselves if that’s all right.†“Yes, perfectly alright†the man responded, and went off to the kitchen. Rose leaned over to the Doctor. “Could one of them be a timelord?†“It’s unlikely, but if something had gone wrong during a regeneration, then it’s possible†Just at that moment, two girls walked into the hall. The first was Chinese, with dark eyes and long black hair. The second had a thin face, pale skin, frizzy, curly light brown hair and deep turquoise eyes. And she was starring, transfixed, at the Doctor. “Emily†she said to her friend “Can you get me some lemonade.†“Sure.†replied Emily, and went off to the kitchen. The other girl, who I think you’ll have guessed was Tina, turned back to the Doctor. “Did you say timelord?†Rose quickly replied “No, he said, um...†“Yes†interjected the Doctor. “Yes I did.†He knelt down beside Tina. “Are you a timelord?†“No.†“Are you from Gallifrey?†“Sort of.†“Who are you?!†“You know Caspian?†Tears were now pouring down her cheeks. “Yes.†“Well, I’m, I’m his TARDIS. And it’s you isn’t it, Doctor?†She flung her arms around his neck, tears streaming down her cheeks. The Doctor looking quite taken aback, gently prised her off. “Um, this girl is quite upset, she’s going to come for a walk with us,†he told the other children, who were now all staring at them. “Tell, Mr... “Cliff†said one of the kids. “Mr Cliff that we’re going to ask her a bit about this place, and then we’ll bring her back.†With that he strode out of the door, followed by Rose and Tina. For a while they walked in silence. Once they were a good distance from the care home, the Doctor turned to Tina. “Now,†he said “tell me exactly what’s going on.â€

Chapter 5
Tina, slowly, carefully, told him the whole story. When she had finished, the Doctor nodded before standing up and looking around. “We need to get you back to the orphanage.†he said. “But...†began Tina, speechless. This wasn’t how it was meant to be. The Doctor was meant to rescue her from here, not send her back to the orphanage! “Something’s wrong here.†continued the Doctor. “I’ve been feeling it since we got here.†“What?†Asked Rose. Suddenly, all three of them were blinded with a blast of colour. Tina reeled back, and Rose nearly fell over, but the Doctor remained still. “Oh God.†he whispered. Before he had a chance to say anything else, something appeared in the sky. It was a light-brownish colour, with long pointed teeth, and it look something like a giant bat. It had no arms, just wings, and its legs were no more than sticks. Its head with came to three points, and it had gleaming red eyes. Three or more of them appeared in the sky, and then, from behind trees and post boxes, came more of them, except these ones had no wings, but mussely arms and legs instead. “What are they?†asked Rose. “Tericons.†he replied. Then, turning to Tina, he added, “And they’re here for you.â€

Chapter 6
“Why, why are they after me?†stammered Tina, starring at the Doctor. “I’ll explain on the move, lets go!†shouted the Doctor, as the Tericons dived towards them. The Doctor, Rose and Tina raced off, the bat-like creatures hot on they’re tails. Shooting round a corner, the Doctor bashed into a lamp post. “Ow!†He said, rubbing his forehead. “What are those things?†asked Rose. “Tericons.†replied the Doctor, then, turning to Tina, “I suppose you know what those are?†Tina looked embarrassed. “Well, I can only remember about an eighth of what I knew when I was a TARDIS, so....†“O.K, I get the message.†said the Doctor. “Well, I could give you a long biography of these creatures, with complicated references that you’d need the library of Gallifrey to understand. But for now I’ll just tell you that they hate loud noises. With that he raised his sonic screwdriver, and pointed it at the Tericons. They doubled up, seemingly in terrible pain, before disappearing into thin air. “Where’d they go?†asked Rose. “They ran back off into the darkness of space, but they’ll be back.†“Why are they after me?†asked Tina. “Okay.†said the Doctor, sitting down on a nearby bench. “Now it’s time for the long biography of these creatures, with complicated references that you’d need the library of Gallifrey to understand. Maybe without the references. And not so long. In short, these creatures are animals, living off instinct. They travel through space, looking for very powerful beings. Once they’ve found them, they feed off that power, killing the being in the process. Tina, do you still have the power you had as a TARDIS?†“Not half as much, but still some of it, yes.†“But it still makes you the most powerful human alive. And that’s why they’re here. They’ve come to feed off you.â€

Chapter 7
“What?!†exclaimed Tina. “What what? Now, we have to get you back to the children’s home.†“Why.†“’Cause there less likely to find you there.†“Yeah,†agreed Rose, “Come on Tina.†Rose reached down to help Tina off the bench, but Tina shrugged her away. “Why do you travel with her?†she asked the Doctor. “Picked her up one day, when I was fighting plastic dummies.†grinned the Doctor “And we’ve stuck together ever since. Comes in handy, she does.†“But, she’s human.†“So?†“Well, you’re a timelord. She, like, way inferior to you.†“Now hang on a minute......†began Rose, but before she could say anything else, Tina had stood up and was beginning to walk towards the street where the Doctor and Rose had parked the TARDIS. Rose and the doctor rushed after her. Slowly, Tina’s hand reached out and touched the door of the big blue box. She just stayed there, stock still, for a second or two, and then she smiled. “She’s annoyed at you.†Tina said, turning to the Doctor. “You left her hydroxide parameter inhabited on red.†“Whoops!†said the Doctor, and went inside to fix the problem. “The what?†asked Rose. “You wouldn’t understand.†“No, of course I wouldn’t. ‘Cause I’m a stupid little human!†“Well, you are.†For a moment there was an awkward silence, then Tina said, “I miss it.†“What?†“Being a TARDIS.†“Yeah, I, I know how you feel.†“How could you!†said Tina, turning to face Rose, suddenly angry. “How could you know what it’s like to have all that power, to be able to see all of time and space, every atom of the universe, all that knowledge and power, and then have it snatched away form you!†“Yes, I can.†said Rose quietly “Because I looked at the heart of TARDIS, and I felt all of that, everything. But then the Doctor had to take it from me.†Tina went quiet, before saying, “Did you lose your whole life as well?†“What do you mean?†“I lost Caspian, my timelord. I lost my life’s purpose.†“Well, I thought I lost the Doctor. I suppose that’s kinda similar.†“Yeah, maybe, maybe, it is.†“Yeah.†Tina opened her mouth to say more, but before she could, the Tericons burst through the sky.
